Yeah no thanks,I want good depth and complexity on my RPG´s and Divinity offers that,DA isn´t even on my radar, especially with upcoming games like Wasteland 2 or Pillars of Eternity,I no longer need bioware for anything RPG related and that has been the case for years now.

What's exactly wrong with DA?

I'd be a lot more worried about the blind fangasming people are having over games made by people that haven't done anything notable in the gaming industry in decades.

Bioware RPGs are dull in content and made to please the mainstream crowd, for example compare the two KOTOR rpgs, bioware's was more polished but obsidian's have much better depth into the star wars universe... bioware rpgs are even duller than the mainstream emo-kind jrpgs.

Also, I'm not really a big BioWare fan, only tried KOTOR once and am currently playing through DA:O, much bigger fan of Obsidian and the old RPG's, but you guys are just talking crap.

DAI is not only the odds on favorite to win RPG Of the Year, its a GOTY candidate. Can't say the same for those crowd funded games you want to trumpet. And if Bioware does fail with DAI, its Dark Souls II that wins.

GAME OF THE YEAR... YEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAH !!

Who gives 2 flying fucks about some bs mainstream gaming awards anyway ? herp

inExile?

The guy brought up both Pillars of Eternity (Obsidian) and Wasteland 2. Hence Fallout: New Vegas.

Also, I would rather play a game made from a dev who has shown to be very competent in teh past, than one whose recent track record has been pretty damn awful. I havent enjoyed a single BioWare game since Hordes of the Underdark.

What did inExile make of relevance in the past decade?

Fallout: New Vegas is Obsidian, for whom I have respect as a semi-decent RPG dev, but inExile has only really done The Bards Tale (iirc) 10 years ago.

What bothers me is that people are utterly un-critical to these devs on the merits of what they did 2 or even 3 decades ago.
