[QUOTE="tango90101"][QUOTE="King_of_Sorrow"][QUOTE="tango90101"] that can't be right...
cows SWORE bluray would give ps3 games with longer gameplay times, larger worlds, and never-before-seen effects...all thanks to bluray.... :roll:
bluray wasn't made for games.... this is just further proof....
King_of_Sorrow
Don't put the cart before the mule my friend. they only using the single-layer disc. There still the dual-layer which is 50GB. I only support the cows because people like you create twisted logic and go own and try to claim "ownage". If it wasn't for lemmings, I would be supporting the sheep.
single layer, dual layered, who gives a crap?
the PROOF is right in front of your eyes...
bluray does NOT mean bigger, longer games as sworn by the silly bovine populace....
how that's "twisted logic" is beyond me...
face it; bluray is a needless upcharge that has zero benefit to gaming... then again, sony NEVER said it had been implemented fro gaming...
Larger worlds without loading time? Try playing Rachet and clank.
Do you have a nice audio system? if so i suggest you here the crisp sound of heavenly Sword.
All reasons why Blu-ray is a benefit to gaming. They have yet to use the 50GB imagine how larger worlds will be then?
Knocking blu-ray is like calling out the Pope. It has every good intention to make things better, but yet you find it useless.
R&C? What about it? what's so big in it that can't be done on dvd 9? nothing...
i have a great audio system, and still don't think bluray has an audio benefit worth noting.. the sound of 360 games sound AWESOME...
yes, let's imagine what large worlds will be made on 50GB bluray disks... because imagining is as close as we're going to get...
larger worlds = more manhours = higher overhead. not good news for the developers using such a small fanbase...
your pope analogy stunk... really...
