at the theater u get to watch ur movie in super high def, comfty chair, big screen and with no cleanup

I would much rather have had inferior hardware to the 360... but in compensation more exclusives/reason to buy a PS3. Grand Theft Auto IV, Devil May Cry 4, Resident Evil 5, Assasins Creed andVirtua Fighter 5could have been kept exclusive by Sony. But they screwed up their budget limit by only concentrating on Hardware.

In other words... paying for expensive hardware when basicly no games at all take advantage of it is a bad idea. Software > Hardware.

Obviously all the supposed flaws with GeOW weren't damaging enough to prevent the game from earning multiple GotY awards, massive sales, and countless hours of online play logged into XBL.

I was so hyped for this game i even got a new $80.00 Duelshock 3 controller so i could finaly enjoy a good game for PS3. But after i have seen it is only 8 hrs of gameplay what a JOKE. I may rent it but that's it and maybe not even that becuase i'm so mad man i can beat this game in 1 sitting. Yeah right Sony Blu-Ray is the URBER MIGHTY JOKE nothing more.

Maybe a developer might make a game with decent game hrs if it for was not the gimped Cell and BS hardware design that cuase so much pain for developers and cost. This is why we keep seeing these short games. On PS3. It's costting the developers to much$$$ just to even get an 8hr game out the door with delays at that.

To those using Gears or CoD4 as arguments for the hsort gameplay against Uncharted are missing the point. Microsoft, Epic and Infintry Ward NEVER claimed that this next gen would promise longer games based on the technology whereas Sony and Blu-Ray DID

Except they never state that in the video you are linking. "Create environments of unrivaled depth and complexity" doesn't suddenly mean "HEY KIDS, its an everlasting Gobstopper!" just because you think it does. Frankly speaking, Heavenly Sword and Uncharted pretty much do deliver on that "unrivaled depth and complexity" spiel of theirs, barring a handful of PC titles.

That commercial is slightly misleading, but far less than you would see even in the typical Mac commercial for instance..don't even get my started on those iPhone testimonials.

I don't recall Sony ever saying that the Blu-Ray would make the games massively long. They emphasized quality, not length. So please don't try to say Sony renegged on anything here.

you do understand that games on PC hard-drive are alot differnt then games runningjust of a disk

I am sorry, but all that PS3 devs use Bluray for is uncompressed audio. That stuff takes up so much room and honestly there is no reason to have uncompressed audio. There is no noticeable difference in the uncompressed audio and the compressed high bitrate audio on 360 or PC games.MadExponent

You don't know what your talking about. Lossless Audio is not uncompressed and does not take up most of the blu-ray disc... You do however have a nice pc!
