[QUOTE="LosDaddie"][QUOTE="mikasa"]Funny how you leave out the liberal commentator on fox. Colmes, Juan Williams, Morton Kondracke (more of a moderate), and there are others. I guess since their ration is 8 to 1 lib to conservative they are a right wing hate machine.
mikasa
And yet none of those "liberals" you mentioned has their own show. Colmes is more of a sidekick to Hannity than anything else. There's a reason why Colmes is a joke to real liberals.
Whatever, if Hannity AND COLMES isn't having your own show I dont' know what is. He's liberal through and through. What I like about him is he's honest. He won't change his thoughts just to suit a politician. And I admire that aspect. I wish some more right wingers would do the same.
Colmes has been and always will be a joke to Dems. Colmes is known as a "Fox News Liberal". Meaning he is a weak counter to Hannity and fails present the Left's message. He is not respected by the Democratic party or liberals in general. Heck, Hannity boasts of being an arch-conservative while Colmes has admitted to being moderate.
Yeah, Colmes shares a show with Hannity, but he doesn't have his own show. Hannity has his own show on Sundays. Where's Colmes' own show?
I guess the Right's definition of "Own"ing something is to share...
Absolutely they stack the guests. But not in the same ratio most news watchers were used to...andthat's how they get bias claims against them. Typical Sunday morning show. 2 or 3 liberal guests and commentators vs. 1 conservative. And then teh conservative is usually someone like tucker carlson or Lindsey Graham. At lesat fox tries to bring both extremes to the forefront and keep it balanced-->and that it why they are the most watched.mikasa
#1: If it's Fox vs. Liberal Media (which to the Right, is the rest of the TV networks), then, overall, Fox doesn't have the most viewers. On a network vs network basis, then yes, Fox does have the most viewers. The "most viewers" argument just proves you believe all the talking points the Right feeds yourather thanthinking about it on your own.
#2: Do you have any proof of these guest ratios, or did you get them from Limbaugh/Drudge?
And my point is that it's fine, but just make it known which side you're pulling for so we can make an informed decision about the news you're pushing.mikasa
That I completely agree with. Of course, the Right would only be satisfied if all the networks (except Fox) admitted to being liberal since the Right's agenda is to label all the media as liberal.

Actually look at the link in my other post....it proves even fox is liberal. Just not as extremely liberal as the others. It's just that our view of the news is so titled by the left we think that something that is at the center or just left of center is right-wing progaganda.
9 to 1 reporters donate to democrats vs. republicans. Where as fox reporters only give 5 to 1 in favor of the democrat. This is a fact that can't be denied. Just because fox has a lower ratio of Liberal reporters to conservative doesn't make them right-wing. Just that they are less left.
And yes Fox does beat all cable news networks COMBINED!
Fox is far from liberal and far from fair and balanced. I could care less if they have a right wing ideology, but it does bother me that they advertise fair and balanced. They do cherry pick the "liberal" people to appear on their shows that most liberals really don't like. I think their slogan really ought to be "We don't fact check anything O'rielly says". That guy spews nonsense, but he still looks like a huggable teddy bear next to Michelle Malkin. The hate spewd out of that lady can only be topped by Sean Hannity and his "crush" Ann Coulter. Should we bring up Brett Hume... oh you could go on and on about Fox's right wing slant. They have the right to say what ever they want, but to call it "news" is ridiculous and to call it "fair and balanced" is ludicrous.
and if you really want to hammer the point home about Fox and its viewers google "Fox 9-11 and Iraq". You will see more articles and polls about how Fox vewiers are more like to beleive Iraq had something to do with 9-11.
News reporters are just supposed to deliver the news...not have an opinion on it while they are on the air. Everyone has there personal veiws, but it's not a reporter's job to give them to you while he's stating facts.
That's what's wrong with the media today. Just give america the facts with out sticking your nose in 'em.
OMG left wingers saying there is no biased is a joke.
Face reality the CNN is a den of left wingers and always will be...

How about Juan Williams? Is he a right winger also or Chris Wallace? What about Mort Kondracke?
Besides fox gives to democrat politicians 5 to 1. Funny how no one wants to addresss that.

I disagree. What's wrong is they try to give the facts but they are tainted wtih their personal bias but claim they aren't. Instead tell me your bias and then I can understand why you choose to downplay a story or play another story non-stop.
Tel me how they voted/what party they are affiliated with/how much they donate and to which party/etc...
Walter Kronkite was a liberal but he hid it. However, he influenced America more than anyone to the liberal point of view because they assumed he was neutral in all things. Fact is he was a liberal and was influencing everyone more than anyone realized. In fact, Vietnam wasn't lost until he declared it lost!

Fox News is left of center with hosts like Gibson, Oreilly, Hume & Snow? That's news to me...
Your link didn't prove Fox was liberal, just that a few Fox employees donated to Dems. YOur link also proved a few "Liberal Media" employees donated ot the Right.

You act as is the entire press donates to Dems
The pattern of donations, with nearly nine out of 10 giving to Democratic candidates and causes, appears to confirm a leftward tilt in newsrooms - at least among the donors, who are a tiny fraction of the roughly 100,000 staffers in newsrooms across the nation.
Seems to me that only a very small portion are giving any money to either side. Of course to Righties, the actions of a few condemn the many.

Whose show does Williams appear on?
Wallace; the guy who asked Clinton about Osama?
Whose show does Kondracke appear on?
Again, your link didn't show Fox employees giving 5-to-1 to Dems.

ever heard of sampling? if 5 to 1 they give to democrats...you can extrapolate that out pretty reliably.
As far as links....go look at nielson's ratings. You'll see. If you're really interesting in learning you'll do the research. If you're not you'll just ignore it and keep going with what you're told by people you *think* are correct.

Kondracke is on his own show...beltway boys.
So if an interviewer asks a tough question of a liberal it means they are right wingers! Wow that take the cake.
And read the actual data...and you'll see it's 5 to 1. Or do you only read the words the reporter wants you to know? Sometimes you have to dig a little deeper and quit being fed by the news to understand the true data. Hint: click the link that shows the data and count the ones that Fox gave and then look who they gave it to. I think it was 5 to 1 democrat. And 9 to 1 democrat overall.
[QUOTE="Dualshockin"]Though Shadowrun did indeed fail to meet expectations,I have said this before and I will say it again,CNN should never be used as a source of videogaming news.mikasa
CNN shouldn't be used asa source for any news. Along with CBS (they are the real laughing stock of the news industry).
The laughing stock is MSNBC (Chris Hansen is awesome though) followed by the so called "fair and balanced" fox news
