Dark Sector on 360 or PS3?

Regardless of the game getting a 7.5 here, I still want to play it. Trouble is, since there is no differnce between the two versions, it makes for a very hard Buying Decision. Does anyone know if theres any differnces in teh game that favors one console over the other?

man i remember seeing this game as the first next gen game a long time ago.

i would get it for the ps3. The resident evil 4 style controls work best with the ps3 controller. And dont forget you can use the sixaxis motion sensor when the throw the glaive which works very very very well.

I used to think achievments are pointless, that was until I got a 360 and started to actually want to get 1000/1000. Achievments just offer alot of great replayability, and don't leave your games to collect dust on the shelf. The only sstem that I would recomend Dark sector for atm is the 360, but thats just because the ps3 has yet to have an achievment system. Once it does, Id suggest that any game that goes multi-platform get it for the ps3.

umm, guys, the PS3 version has the same achievements the 360 version has. They are called 'entitlements' on the PS3. The only difference is, there are no point values for them. You still get to see a list of the ones you unlocked.

I'm sure once HOME is released, these will turn into trophies.

I may get the PS3 version, but the 360 controller may be better since it plays similar to Gears... I'm not sure yet since Uncharted worked very smooth. Tough decision.

Nice to see devs actually make sure each version is equal.

Well I think you'll be disapointed if you buy it, but if its just a rent choose the system your best at. I'm renting it for the 360 because i'm better at the controls and theres achievments. xXHackettXx

how would you know if he would like the game and you never played it?????? if you like gears of war then most likely you will like this game, it plays almost identical to it and the graphics are better, using the glaive is pretty cool but it just doesnt that impact on the game that you would think.

I own it for PS3 and it runs great. No framerate issues at all. It's a consistent 30fps. This game definitely runs incredibly well for having such impressive visuals. It has entitlements, too. :)

will you play online multiplayer? if so, go with whatever service you use more.

I got it for PS3. I buy just about all multi-plats for PS3 now, unless it gets a dramatically lower score due to tech issues. I have a launch 360 which is still up and running! Woohoo!...haha..but who's to say how long that will last. I just don't wanna take the chance of being in the middle of a great game only to have my 360 crap out and give me the RROD. There are exceptions of course. Condemned 2 is multi-plat, but I got it for 360...only fair considering the original was exclusive to the 360.paul52181

he alludes to the idea that if your 360 is going to fail, it will fail early in the life span. i had one dre, and it got fixed. since then, no problems.

actually, they are exactly the same minus the numbers attached to them for the 360. Look at the list of achievements for the 360, and look at the list of entitlements for the PS3, they are IDENTICAL. I'm sure once home comes out, there will be trophies for the PS3 version and then they will actually be the exact same.
