I use PSU a lot and usually respect their opinion, but it'll still get somewhere from a 7.0-8.0 here.

More credible than gamespot's reviews? Yes,
but like, a homeless guy, who has never touched a game in his life, and hasn't touched the game we're discussing is more credible than gamespot, so, it's not hard.

PSU has fairly good review scores....they occasionally trash games that were well regarded by the gaming community and they're usually at least within a point of the review community average, which is roughly what Gamespot can achieve on a very good day.

I'd take a Gamespot review more seriously in terms of credibility, but in terms of seriousness, PSU reviews are great. Their only true stillbirth thus far was their EXTREME overrating of Lair (I think they gave it an 8.0).

Wait for cumulative reviews obviously.

I think this one will get bipolar reviews across the board. Anywhere from 7.0-8.5.

They bash it for looking like the same old, same old. I pointed out earlier how these are the same people who hype/hyped games like Halo 3, Uncharted, Resistance, SSBB, GeoW2. All those games were more of the same old, same old, with a few new additions, yet they bash Dark Sector for being exactly that. Lots of hypocritical peeps up in the hood methinks.

If someone don't like the game and think it looks like crap, then fine, but I thought some people would like to see that it's not a Lair kinda flop that some were predicting it to be. I think we can say it'll be a good game, but not great or even amazing. I'm alright with good games, though.

Thanks for posting!! I really like what I read. i was going to get it anyway, but it sounds as good as I thought. 11-13 hours of gameplay is awesome for a shooter. The online looks like a good time as well. I'll see it for myself tomorrow. Glaive ftw!
