Dark Souls announcement incoming. Facebooks likes will help reveal it.

I have no issue with this, in fact I welcome it. I haven't purchased Dark Souls myself and if this ends up being a PC port, I'll get that instead. My problem is you have all of these hermits who do nothing but bash consoles and console games and yet they all get their panties wet once a PC port is announced.

Double standards... but hey, this is System Wars.

A console-centric game can move onto the PC platform with little changes. Anything a console can render, a gaming PC can do as well. It might not be a great PC game because it might not take advantage of PC-centric features, but it will be equal or better than the console version of the same game.

On the other hand, a PC-centric game might not be able to move onto console space without changes. A design change might be required in order for consoles to handle the game.

Dark Souls always seemed like a pretty PC-friendly game and from what I hear some parts of the game are close to unplayable on consoles because of the framerate, so it will be nice to avoid that. Plus, on PC as long as players are willing there will always be servers to play, so the game can enjoy longer life :)

Thank you, we will...WHILE playing our newly ported version of Dark Souls as well while we sit back in our comfy leather chairs, basking in the glorious sunlight on our island condo in Hawaii or any other highly acclaimed vacation spots, sipping our 1970's grade A wine, twirling our moustaches ever so snarklingly, and watching every second of our highly acclaimed PC games and PC port through our rather dashing monocles and wearing an equally dashing hat as well.

No there is no way to avoid hackers when doing pvp

To be fair, this is probably great for From Software. Niche RPGs like this have a large market on the PC.

Ehh, guess you haven't played Dark/Demon's Souls yet, they are not gonna completely reconstruct online system for PC version

No one will buy the PC version anyway since its 1 year old port and PC gamers don't like JRPGs, its gonna hard be finding any people at the launch week and online will be completely dead after few months
