Looks cool as hell, although I would probably get sick just playing it in later levels with how framey my laptop is with Dark Souls.

It's a cool idea, but unless they can get it working better than that I'm not interested in playing that way. If they get it working well it would be amazing in the Oculus Rift.

Looks like a good start. Might get me interested in playing DS.

Come on people where is your gamer imagination? it's not just about one mod, but mods like these lead to other mods. Like how the resolution fix lead to the framerate fix. It opens up the game and allows more to be done with it

It's not the mod looks bad, it just puts the game into a camera mode that doesn't go well with the gameplay.

Looks a bit messy, but the concept clearly has potential. If more work is put into it that would be great.

Yup. That's exactly what they do. It's the only way anyone can possibly even begin to act like mods are a bad thing. Console fanboys are inherently jealous of PC options, so they have to find a way to say that options are a bad thing. With mods, the only way they can do that is to find the worst mod they possibly can, and then act like using said mod is a requirement for playing the game, and therefore it makes the game worse. Davekeeh logic.

I wouldn't use it even if it was done right. Not with the general scale of things that the soul series provides and the chance of missing hidden items being great. Oh dear, that's not including getting gangbanged or missing death certain traps. I'd be raging all day. For the sake of people actually interested in the idea of this though, I hope it does well, and comes together in end.

From Software should revive King's Field. I'd like to try it.

Yeah, it'd be a detriment to the game overall, for sure. Still would be cool to try out though. I hope they get the kinks figured out, and make it so you can just toggle between the two views in-game. Then I'd use it while wondering around areas I've already been, and know well, and for some boss fights.

Think about this people, it's a very early mod to a game designed on consoles brought to PC with no modding support to being with. Were you all expecting perfection? 

i think people are just (rightfully) pointing out that the mod, in its current state, is barely playable due to really bad camera issues. no point in falsely praising something that's bad. once they fix it, then it'll deserve some praise, but right now it's more of a proof of concept than something that someone would install to play.BrunoBRS

Yeah, although that was a different style of gameplay really. The action wasn't as frantic, and with the Souls games it was more important to constantly be able to see what's going on around you, where to roll, when to block, which direction to face, that kind of thing. With King's Field, I felt more like a tank just carefully lining enemies up one by one, and couldn't roll, but didn't need to.
