Here, VOSA or the DVSA as they are called with fine you for every pallet not strapped and its you that gets fined. The instant you take that truck out on the road, you are responsible for everything on it, thats even before we start getting into daily running of the truck. I think the list for things VOSA doesn't fine you for is a lot shorter.

Going over your hours - Fine

Not enough daily or weekly rest - Fine

Not securing load - Fine

Having a light out - Fine

Having a bald tire - Fine

Being overweight - Fine

List goes on.

For steel here we use chains especially if its sheet steel, straps just get ripped.

Heh, sounds just like the DOT.

Yeah, depending on the shape of the steel, we have to use special metal corners (with a rounded surface) in order to safely use the straps so they don't rip.

Sound like a cash grab. They should've offered free update to those who already own the game.

Its not free, they overhauled the game. In fact they have more cause to charge than SquareEnix did with Human Revolution.

Once again, the levels are going to be very different, with new enemies and items, and many areas are tweaked as well, some with added shortcuts.

aka cash grab.

Or how about improved edition?

So much gamer entitlement.

Witcher 2's enhanced edition included improved visuals and lock on system. It totally rebalanced the entire game. People complained that it is harder in the beginning and becomes easier later on, so they made the harder in later parts, improved AI and their attack speed. It also included new quests as well as new locations. Not only that but they created Intros and Outros for the game, rewrote some of the dialogues. They called back voice actors to record extra dialogues for the game.

The game had extra cutscenes, improved ending, all the DLCs released previously PLUS Arena Mode and Tutorial. They also completely overhauled visuals of Chapter 3 + Epilogue and it was 100% free update for owners of vanilla. For new comers it was released as standalone title digitally and on Blue Ray. And these guys are charging people for minor improvements. Won't be surprised if some of these "features" were supposed to be in the game but they removed them, so they could sell it later as an update.

We all remember how the game was downgraded. But that's fine because "discount" right? This thread alone is proof that people were concerned over their policies regarding this updated version, that's why you had to create this thread. As usual, I don't expect you to acknowledge mistakes of your one of favorite developers.

But then it didn't change the entire game. Dark Souls II new version does. Its an entirely new game almost, The Witcher 2 EE wasn't. And many of the thing you mentioned were in earlier patches, not the EE.

You are not getting it. The changes in this new version of DS2 are not minor. they are major, for example, the Hiede's Tower of Flame plays ALOT differently in this new version than in the old, which includes a dragon. Its a completely new game, which is one reason why dx9 people cannot play with dx11.

Plus, in February, From Software did indeed give us free DLC, which was the new story content, a new final boss, and a new ending, so they too have given fans some free stuff.
