I'm playing Dark Souls 3 on a GTX 960 system and a GTX 980 Ti system, and it runs pretty well on both. The 960 hangs out between 30 and 60 frames per second with maxed settings at 1920x1080, while the 980 Ti maintains 60 without issue at 2560x1440. Options are fairly limited (see them here), and the frames per second are capped at 60, but otherwise it’s a functional port. Not a PC player’s dream, by any means, but Dark Souls 3 runs and looks better than any other in the series at release.
PCG
So, good port

Pretty much. Not sure what the problem is here.
I still have a 770 which seems to be slightly better than a 960, and will have no problems with this game.
60 fps cap... why...
well I doubt From being incompetent with technical things comes as new to people, so it was to be expected as their physics engine is tied to the frame rate

Well that's unfortunate, I do not understand why some studios still use these archaic rendering methods..

when you can milk with old stuff why bother doing something better, look battlefield vs cod f.e
tiny Frame per second higher than console?
Are console gamers born with bad eyes or are they just fanboys?
I didn't know that a frame per second can be tiny... Consolites inventing new mind-breaking abstract concepts lol
And what about the KB/M controls? Does it have decent controls this time?
are you one of those guys who plays fighters with a kb/mouse?

Yup, though I don't play much fighter games.
@zeeshanhaider: why would you ever play Dark Souls with a KBM?
Because I can't play 3D games with controllers.
@zeeshanhaider: curious, disability?
No! I just can't seem to aim and move with the analog sticks and D-PAD in 3D. It's quite a mess. Tried it few time and then give up.
Probably fake requirements since previous Soul games also released high requirements but ran at 60fps even on a potato. BTW, what will it take to run the game at 60fps on Consoles? Oh wait.
I don't know what to do, order the pc version from Japan and play the f*** out of this game (bored as hell, nothing to play...) or wait almost three weeks for the $30 pricier version that runs at 30fps but has/will have a bigger online community. Why can't i transfer my saves to the ps4 version or this game being crossplatform... Fromsoft whyyyy!?
@zeeshanhaider: what games have you tried this with?
Left4Dead, FIFA and I think it was Gears or Red Dead Redemption.
ds 1 was horrendeous with kb+m, ds 2 was ok from what I heard, there was some speedrunner who swore by kb+m. I never bothered trying, too used to playing 3rd person action games with controller

I do. Because my arsehole friends always breaking my controllers.

Next time you break your arsehole freinds with your controllers :P
@EvanTheGamer: Enjoy your low frame rates and choppy gameplay.
If you've ever played a Souls game, they aren't even choppy on a PS3/PS4.
You get the Sony versions for the best experiences and biggest online communities, that means lots of summons at any level of your soul memory.

But that's totally false. PC has double the framerate, which means it'll be a better experience than the PS4 and X1 version. Then we have to take into account that the whole franchise sold the best on PC. A whooping 40% of sales are from the PC version, the other 60% are from the PS3, 360, PS4 and X1 versions of the franchise.
