Dark Souls not being released on Xbox360 in JP?

my friend told me this was happening and if you go to the wiki you can see that it is only releasing on the PS3 in japan and says nothing about releasing on xbox360..

So i guess its true Xbox is dead in japan?

No, no Xbox version in Japan dude. Honestly though, even if there was an Xbox 360 version for Japan it would sell a total of 3 copies when you consider how much they seem to hate Xboxes over there.

It was never releasing in Japan and yes, 360 is dead over there and noone cares much TBH

The 360 is good for pretty much one thing in Japan: shmups

Dark Souls has an online aspect to it, and the publisher has to front the costs for those servers since it's a console game. There's no reason to do that for a game that won't sell well in Japan, so they might as well not release it there at all. They wouldn't make money on it given that server costs would probably be more than the game makes for the company.
