No, it's sony's marketing team thats in Damage Control. It sure seems funny that, all of a sudden, this forum gets flooded with these threads that read like lame attempts at PR right before the beginning of the Holiday shopping season. Then again, if my platform had a lackluster holiday lineup and was being outsold 2 to 1 in1 of the biggest game markets, I suppose I would be trying to viral market also..

So i bit the bullet on the backwards compatibility and bought a brand new 160-Gig PS3 and since i got over $400.00 in return credit the cash payout for the difference and Resistance 2 wasn't that bad, so needless to say i am now a full blown Sony fan and i seriously doubt i'll ever be able to return to a 360 again, it's bad enough they had the faulty RROD hardware for over 3 years but now their dashboard software update is about as reliable as their first release of Windows Vista.

So flame all you want fanboys, but if there is anyone who gave Microsoft their fair share of chances over the years it was me and the 4 360's i've gone through, oh and no i won't be going through the trouble of changing my user name, because i did play and beat both Gears of War games a lot more than once and i played them to death online, but now it will be strictly Resistance 1 and 2.

Man, I thought they would've locked this thread by now.  I like how the TC just became a hardcore cow as soon as somebody questioned his trading practices. Why not just be who you are and leave it at that. Just seems like an absolute waste of time to be a fakeboy. I think it was a good idea for them to discontinue support of the xbox. imo sony still supporting ps2 the way they do is just hindering ps3 sales

Yes, because this has anything to do with gaming. who cares if blu-ray won. M$ has already put out a statment that if blu is the winner then a blu-ray add-on will be made. also you seem to think that M$ created HD-DVD when it was actually toshiba. All M$ did was say the were going to support it.

You may have given FACTS as to why YOU feel the ps3 is superior. but you also admited to owning a ps3 alot longer then you say you have.

As for faulty hardware, thats why M$ implemented the 3 year warrenty plan. although imo they should just change the overall design of the 360 and get rid of the RROD altogether. i guess they decided a cosmetic overhaul would cost more then just simply dealing with the current issue. that and once gamers hit the end of their 3 year warrenty they'll already have huge 360 libraries and just end up buying another 360. its genious if you ask me, although it makes their sales #'s a little innacurate, it boosts profits for them. but could possibly damage their standing with the next generation of consoles. Anyways you should quit trolling and just stfu already. you're no good at it anyways
