David Jaffe has said that Twisted Metal might work on Kinect - in theory, at least.

The Eat Sleep Play developer was responding to an obviously tongue-in-cheek question about Twisted Metal coming to Xbox 360 with motion cam support.

"No Twisted for Kinect but I WAS standing in front of it 'air playing' it and it kind of might work," he said.

"Need 2 try Joy Ride and see what the driving experience is with it."

We've a feeling Jaffe's answer was similarly tongue-in-cheek or at the very least a completely hypothetical "What if?"

Twisted Metal is of course a PS3 exclusive and Jaffe revealed a load of details on the modern day Twisted Metal imagining back in July.

We didn't think much of Kinect's Joyride anyway so we're not looking for anything like Twisted Metal to go Kinect any time soon.

What's point to saying that Twisted Metal might work on Kinect if its WILL NOT go to Xbox 360 platform too?

David Jaffe is the director of the first God of War and Twisted Metal. How does he represent the 360?

all he is saying is one of his games might be applicable to the tech based on current offerings,Jaffe is a human being aswell developers/directors/designers are humans aswell with opinions on this kinda thing they are allowed to muse bout things like sayin hey this might work cause to an extent its their job to a degree as they do design

Cows and lems alike will find it a hard concept to grasp and might blow some of their collective minds :P

Meh, these games were never good even back in the PS1 days. The last thing Kinect needs is more bad games.

Um...ok....I didn't know anyone wanted Twisted Metal to come to the 360, but good story anyway.

I wonder if he will get in trouble with Sony for saying his exclusive COULD work on the 360. I thought the official Sony stance is everything is not possible on the 360?.....hmmm
