Rough day for cow, GT is delayed, losing bunch of exclusives to PC.

I almost, almost mind you, feel sorry for the lil fellers. lol :P

A game that ran like ass on the PS4 coming to PC. I'm not expecting a great port of this game, chief. Not excited in the slightest too.

But good for people who want this game on PC, I guess.

Days Gone only has a metacritic of 71 so by metacrictic law it's trash that's not worth anyone's time.

So don't get to excited PC owners.

Main thing I remember about the game is it turning into a slideshow when you got on the motorcycle. I expect it to be worse on a PC port.

@jasonofa36: Game runs at a solid 60 fps on the ps5. Will be even better on pc CHIEF.

It runs extremely well on PS5 and, it runs on Unreal Engine 4 so I doubt it'll be very difficult to run on PC.

This seems like a no brainer considering Days Gone already runs on Unreal Engine 4.

Horizon Zero Dawn: February 2017 on PS4 -> August 2020 on PC ... ~3.5yrs

Days Gone: April 2019 on PS4 -> Spring 2021 on PC ... ~2yrs

There's still no indication that PlayStation will be releasing on PC same day but, they are more aggressively releasing games on PC after release.

@heavymetalman77: With how bad Horizon came out on PC(I know, different devs and engine), I'm not holding my breath. I'd be happy to be proven otherwise, tho.

there's a leaker that mentioned that Days Gone would be coming to the platform (seems to have gotten it right), alongside with The Last Guardian, God of War and down the line The Last Of Us: Part II and Ghost of Tsushima as well.

Expect more of cow tears down on the line

Always wanted the game on PC. Playing this on PS4 at 30fps was rough.

It's running on Unreal Engine 4, could be very well optimized, could be bad.

Nice. The game is practically free for PS5 owners. Looks like it ran its course and now trying to make money from PC. Have fun, PC players!

Another zombie apocalypse game. Good for those that like that stuff, but listening to some people describe playing it, it sounded really dull. That said, an expected but still interesting news, especially the detail about it being the first in a slate of games coming to PC.

So yeah, still a pass for me, along with TLOU1 & 2 if it comes. A little more intrigued by possibility of God of War, Ghost of Tsushima or Bloodborne, but none of them are insta-buys for me. Well, except maybe to "send a message" to Sony - like how I once insta-bought Tekken 7 to "send a message" to Namco.

Really, I just care about only one Sony game right now.

I liked Days Gone. A bit too long perhaps but fun nonetheless.

Hmm, reading a bit more of this, it seems their motivation is simply more revenue to offset development cost, rather than some ambitious push for hardware independence and scaling like Microsoft are doing. Fair enough.

In that case, Sony should hurry up and just port Bloodborne already. I can tell you right now, there are millions of rabid Souls players on Steam who have stashed away some spare cash somewhere safe with the label; "Yay, Bloodborne on PC Day Fund," just for the occasion. It would be one of the easiest money Sony will ever make. It's that simple.

Mehh... good thing that more PlayStation games comes to pc I guess as it makes consoles less and less relevant! But days gone looks pretty meh imo

I'm playing HZD on my PC right now. With my Xbox controller. No PlayStation needed.

Based on Horizon and Days Gone, it's anywhere between 2 and 3.5 years after the initial release.

The Last Guardian -> It's already 4 years old.

God of War -> Summer 2021 would make it 3.5 years.

The Last Of Us: Part II -> Summer 2022 would make it 2 years. Fall 2023 would make it 3.5 years.

Ghost of Tsushima -> Summer 2022 would make it 2 years. Fall 2023 would make it 3.5 years.

There's really no indication that PlayStation is going to release their games day one on PC. The only exception I see is maybe MLB The Show considering it's a full-on multiplatform franchise now.

@UnnDunn: That hardly qualifies as "all" ^^. DS is not even first party.

I can wait 3 years to get the FULL version of the game with better graphics and a better controller on PC. It's not like any of those games have a multiplayer playerbase to worry about.

Ghosts of Tsushima needs a PC release, imagine that with better visuals, frame rate and ray tracing.

There isn't a single PS5 "console exclusive" from PlayStation that's on PC and, releasing them 2-3+ years afterwards on PC shouldn't discourage a single person from buying a PS5.

It's equivalent to saying people won't go to the movie theatres or, subscribe to Netflix because they can watch the movie on a basic cable channel or, an AVOD service like Pluto TV 2-3+ years after release.

But cows told me that Playstation exclusives coming to PC wasn't happening and it was a one and done only thing with just Horizon Zero Dawn.

This is good for everyone. Can't see it as a problem, specially for those not wanting to invest in a console having a powerful PC.

Impossible, cows said it's garbage because of the 71MC score. It can't possibly be fun or entertaining because 71.

I waited to play the game on PS5 as they patched it for 60fps. It ran well for the most part. It struggled at times with larger horde battles, but that is a small percentage of the gameplay. It is a good game and it would be nice to have it on PC.

might check it out on PC, never bothered with the PS4 version

@kingtito: It's definetely not on the same level as other PS games, but it's OK. People who have played it have said many times that it's very underrated for not being as good as other first party titles. I guess people are used to Sony releasing the best of the best ^^

I have no doubt people enjoyed the game. I was just making fun of certain cows claiming games can't be entertaining and enjoyed if it scores 71 on MC.

Game is trash and runs like poop,no thanks. Playing Dying light at 4K 60 fps now on PC and kicks the shit out of that game.

It makes financial sense for Sony to port their games to PC after some time on PlayStation. PlayStation is now their biggest source of income. So I’m not surprised about this and expect more games to get a PC release as well. Days Gone though was the rare Sony game that I couldn’t get into. Maybe I’ll give it another shot down the road.

If anyone wasn't convinced you're a parody account by now then this post oughta confirm that. Port begging for one of the biggest cutscene heavy games ever made while calling an open world game a movie game.

I hope it's better optimized than Horizon: Zero Dawn.

Hopefully they can take the time to sort the zombies out.

@drserigala: I hope The Last Guardian rumor is true. I almost bought a PS4 when that released.

Honestly I just think this makes the PS brand worth less but maybe it doesn't hurt them much if they wait 2 to 3 years to port titles.
