Dead Rising 2 vs Fallout: New Vegas

Both of these games are non linear, post apocolyptic, both can be played in third person, both have zombies (ghouls), and have upgradable weapons, but which one are you more hyped for?

Both are complete different Genres.....aren't they?

Unfortuantly I'm not looking forward to either. I hated Dead Rising, and Fallout 3. And by what I've seen, it doesen't seem likethey've improved much of anything.

Fallout will be the better game, I can acknowledge that, though I'm not sure which personally prefer. I personally grew tired of F3 pretty fast & didn't like the combat at all, but the game world was massive & detailed. I didn't like Dead Rising that much, but mainly because I didn't have a clue what was going on - tiny text on SDTVs sucks.

I went to the Capcom Unity DR2 event last night, so I voted for Dead Rising 2. That game is so fun to play.

dead rising 2 by a tiny bit, Im not super interested in either of them though tbh with you. I got bored of DR 1 and Fallout 3 incredibly fast.

I have high hopes for New Vegas while DR2 does'nt really peak my interest.

Of course it's not that great of a comparison. Both games are COMPLETELY different no matter how you look at it.

They're not really particularly similar. But anyway, I think I've gotten my Dead Rising fill out of Case Zero already. Won't be picking it up day one at least. Wait for PC impressions, see if my aging PC can run it better than my 360 and things like that. Might switch to the PC version of New Vegas as well.

Even though i REALLY love zombie games and see a lot of promise in Dead Rising 2, i know that Fallout: New Vegas will be a far more engrossing game.

Dead rising 2 looks more fun and entertaining all around...cmon drillbucket? what beats a zombie getting beasted by that xD
