Wow the amount of damage control in this thread is biblical. Looks like Forza is the only Xbone launch game with a shot at being good.

It looks ok, I can find myself having fun with most games really.

but using weapons like that has never interested me, I liked that boombox speaker phone thinga majig tho, it was cool making the zombies fly down the street.

Up to a 78 on meta now. I think it is definitely a solid game though not one I'm picking up day one

All the Sony fanboys are butt hurt that a game from a third party that doesn't run great or look great got a score that's the same as a beautiful looking 1080p first party PS4 game.

7's are good scores everyone needs to shut it. Both games are fun and worth a buy. Too bad only one of them actually had a hype thread and can be called a flop. Calling out DR3 for any reason is just damage control.

Sad thing is even Lococycle beat out Knack here. That's pretty bad. Still picking up Knack soon for my cousins to play when I watch them. Love seeing the young ones so interested in video games. Reminds me of me when I first got my NES and SMB.

Yeah, same here. I usually am an easy critic on games. Some here say I have low standards, I say fvck it, I have fun with more games that way.

Thats probably what Dead Rising 3's problems come down to - lack of time to iron out the game fully. From reading the GameSpot review it sounds like all this title needs is a little more TLC, much like what Driveclub is receiving now.

I rarely had any fun in bioshock infinite, I was one of the first here to slam that game so openly, albeit within reason.

I think adam sessler said in one of his videos he is buying xbone for dead rising 3 i think in last 2-3 days i dont remember exact vid name tbh.I still feel xbone is really good and DR3 is NOT a FLOP but saying it was not a game everyone wanted is really ignorance to me.

DR3 is the only launch game I'm getting, not including Fifa 14 which is free with the day one edition.

Forza looks good but that could be a lack of other options, I think my only 360 racing game is PGR3.

Ryse does look more interesting by the day but I'm still unsure if it's QTE galore or not. Reviews might sway me on that.

fair enough. I try to let go when playing and it has served me well, as I get so much out of this hobby that way.

I'd say you still can. It sounds like a blast to play, and most reviews are positive on it. But in this crazy reality gamers are in, KZ and DR3 getting 7 means they are kaka.

OK Cows are we using Metacritic still or not? Because both DR3 and Killer Instinct are above Killzone right now. Or are we switching back to GS scores?

Anyways there is nothing wrong with a 7. I am enjoying Killzone right now and a review score has no effect on that. I wish GS was more like Giantbomb in some ways. They should do more "Quick Look" type things, allowing us to draw our own conclusions instead of feeling like they have to assign a number to everything.

By the way, Killer Instinct is a free-to-play game but it has the same score as Killzone:Shadow Fall, Dead Rising 3 is way better than all PS4 exclusive launch titles if you are basing it on Metacritic except for Resogun which is an indie game. LOL

Forza will get a higher metacritic than all PS launch exclusives.

Im agreeing with you, 7's aren't even that bad and they should count. Its just the side-effect will be PC goes from first place to first place with a huge huge gap.

rofl exactly what i was gonna say. Also the game looks so bad graphically why no reviewers mention that? Looks on par with current gen on a brand new five hundred dollars system and no one mentions that... even tho when GUN was released on 360 every1 did mention its uglyness. This is a 360 port that looks worst than RE5 and 6 on PC, just sad.
