My goodness cows, 360 and PS3 launch games were the same way. Why do you think so many launch games are being delayed?
Im tired of all this crooked logic and misinformation.
Let me make this as basic as possible.
-Launch games are HORRIBLY optimized
-Launch games are merely ported to next gen
-PS4 has a simpler architecture (a la 360 = easier/faster porting)
-360 has a more complex architecture (a la PS3 via coding for ESRAM)
-Launch games are often rushed to meet launch windows and holiday. Little known hardware + rush job = crap performance. (Drive Club, Killer Instinct)
-Some devs actually CARE more than others. Activision is going to port and release, patch games later. Ubi chose to delay to make game better.
We all know XB1 is weaker, but it isnt so weak that it cant produce 1080p. It has more than enough RAM, GPU/CPU power. If 360/PS3 can, next gen can. The REASON it doesnt as often as PS4 CURRENTLY is ESRAM. Devs arent used to programming for or with it. Same with Cell. Large pool of GDDR5 is a cake walk = Launch games are more stabl = you can up the resolution.
Whether lems what to admit it or not, Forza 5 is just a reworked 360 game, so of course it isnt tough to get 1080p/60fps, but that also applies to many PS4 launch games.
This fanboyism needs to stop!
