That, or a giant theme park. :D
If you want Dead Rising 2, you should buy this version. :DZhengiscrew that. the 360 one already sold a million.

Bingo.
Dead Rising 2 will definately come out, just a matter of when. And hopefully it shows up on PS3 too.

Obviously, 1 million wasn't enough or else Capcom would be making a Dead Rising 2.
Watch it sell millions though.DireToadyeah probably
but the Wii version will be no fun compared to the 360 version I think. I guess Wii owners can still hope for original motion controls to raise the funfactor a bit

um there is a reason why they are not making DR2. it is called it wasn't in the plans and they already had other projects to work on.um there is a reason why they are not making DR2. it is called it wasn't in the plans and they already had other projects to work on.too_much_eslim
The main reason was that it sold poorly in Japan.
Thats why they made a Wii version, to attract the Japanese market

they should. they wouldn't release a good fighting game exclusive to wii. It would have been better on teh PS3 at least people would have been able to import it.[QUOTE="killerfist"][QUOTE="too_much_eslim"] dude they are not going to buy it on the wii either.too_much_eslim

yawn doesn't take much work to release old ports with updated controls. They didn't do much with Dead Rising wii apparently.[QUOTE="too_much_eslim"][QUOTE="killerfist"][QUOTE="too_much_eslim"] dude they are not going to buy it on the wii either.killerfist

hey I like good games. Not my fault it is on a system that have region locked games. I am not saying the wii shouldn't get it, but at least put it on the ps3 too.[QUOTE="too_much_eslim"] they should. they wouldn't release a good fighting game exclusive to wii. Better than yours.
On the Wii than it must do good.
The game isn't even out yet. It still has time until february 2009 to improve.lancea34read teh actual article. they sai dthey game is done. they are not doing anything else to it.

It means there is a market for these games there, they dont release games or even ports if no one wants them. Appearently i have to point this out to you as you seem to have problems understanding the obvious

It did really well inNorth America and Europe, but the sales weren't as good in Japan so the Capcom higher ups didn't approve for a sequel. Plus after DR the team was broken up where they worked on different projects.
[QUOTE="too_much_eslim"] um there is a reason why they are not making DR2. it is called it wasn't in the plans and they already had other projects to work on.Zhengi
Really? You have access to Capcom personnel that told you this?
well you see when you have a 360 you are interested in the games that come to i. So when they said that was teh reason they were not in the process of making a sequal in an interview some time ago I would know. The only reason why you are even interested in the game, or even trying to defend your beloved wii is because teh game is coming to the system. You obviously had no interest when it was a 360 game.

it call funding 360 an dPS3 projects. You didn't get the memo. still a zombie game overallZombie game is not a genre. You can't compare Resident Evil with Dead Rising. Two totally different games. The only thing they have in common is zombies. That is not a factor in peoples reasoning to buy a game.

In order to fund they must generate good money, which means you just said they sell great in Japan ;)
See how i turned around that little bash of yours?

Well when the game cost hardly anything to make then they can sell very little and still make a profit.

Where did it say that?
"He said no, aside from a few minor bug fixes, this was the same build, because the game was nearly done."
He said nearly done. Not finished. It still has time to add more zombies on-creen. Also, just look at some of the older pictures:
That doesn't seam so empty.:| From what I've heard, the demo at TGS was set in the first parts of the game when there aren't many zombies, yet.

I'm not saying it didn't do well. I'm just saying it was obviously not enough for Capcom or else they would have done a sequel. My guess is that the resources that took to make Dead Rising was more than they expected and they probably only broke even with the sales. Otherwise, there's no reason for Capcom not to make a sequel if it is profitable.
