Dead Space 2 - First Details!

One of my favorite games this gen no doubt about it. I'm very pleased that EA gave Visceral absolute creative control in order to make the original. Now the same team is in the final stages of pre-production for the sequel!'The game is in the later stages of pre-production, ready for production in the next few months, with many of the navigational and combat mechanics in place... We have complete autonomy and creative control over our own decisions.'

While the story was cliched as they come. Dead Space story was the best thing about the game IMO besides the very awesome dismemberment gameplay.

For me, the ripper = win x10 It was such an awesome weapon for dismemberment. It...got your point across :)

I agree the ripper was full of win :). As for other weapons I hope they improve the falmethrower or just remove it from the sequel all together.

What's with all the "no need for a sequel" talk? Dead Space has a very interesting story between the religious group(can't remember what it's called) and the anti religious group plus throw a sheetload of zombies in between and you have a great gameanolecrabcf

Dead Space is a very good horror game with very interesting story and i like more than Resident Evil 5.The sequel it will be awesome and i can't wait for the next Dead Space game.The animation movie from the game it is very good and the new Dead Space on the Wii it is very interesting,not a sequel,but again for the Wii it is very good.And the game it will be a trilogy.

Right, but bioshock needs one? In any case no pc :cry: Pc gamers have weird tastes not to like the quality of this game but like RE5.

Let me explain you what the problem, there have been so many crap out there that dead space shines out fine, eg you play RE5 right now, dont tell me that they are not lot of stuff to complain about?
