Isn't this game led developed on the PS3?
I'm pretty sure it is.....that's why the game looks good on both systems.
Ok...just finished watching the whole vid, and they are indeed the same. I see no difference, and for anyone to say that there is, I'd think they were lying.
That said, If given the choice between the 2, clearly the the PS3's version of DEAD SPACE 2 is unequivicly the best and definitive version to buy because the PS3's version is getting all of the free content.
Not only that, but personally, if given the choice between a BluRay and DVD, BluRay is gonna win everytime just on the strength that BluRay's will last longer because they are much harder to scratch.
I've had scratched and messed up DVD's before, but I have yet to scratch and mess up a BluRay disk.
But yeah...DEAD SPACE 2 is gonna be best on the PS3.
Don't care which version looks better. I didn't even watch the video i am too pumped to play this game!!
Looks the same to me, maybe a teeny bit better on PS3. I was problay gonna get it on PS3 anyway if I were to buy it.
Making comments like these extra funny. It does look exactly the same. [QUOTE="lazerface216"]
the ps3 version looks slightly better from what i can see....
Litchie
lol the first scene where isaac (or if it's a different guy, i don't know) is getting into that machine the ps3 looked slightly sharper, maybe i'm wrong. as the video went on i found it harder to tell a difference. i was just being honest, i'm glad you had a laugh though...

They literally look exactly the same. IF ANYTHING, the PS3 version looks slightly better.
PAL360
Care to elaborate?
It doesn't....
But the PS3 is the definitive version to buy, however.
Give me a break! the PS3 version had a slightly darker shadow when changing armor. I'll play with the better controller and sacrifice a darker shade of black on the wall any day......................plus achievements are more fun than trophies for me.cainetao11
You'll also be sacrificing 2 distinct games one disk.

That's a good thing, so people can take a break...
Both version look the same. I'll probably pick it up on PS3 since I do not own too many games on it.

Take a break? Between what? Extraction and DS2? Did you think he meant the 360 version needs 2 disks? Oh brother...
Quit fooling yourself both versions look identify the same. From what I can see the PS3 version is clearly superior with its 16X AA and antrioscopic filtering. This should be no surprise since DS2 was developed on the PS3 first instead of t he 360. The 360 version clearly has antialiasing problems.

I threw a Blu Ray at a wall and it promptly split in half. On a side note, can someone confirm if this demo is out yet? Can't find it on XBL or PSN, and there aren't any threads about it.Ok...just finished watching the whole vid, and they are indeed the same. Don't bother with Aku.
Aku is known for his/her "honest" opinion about the 360.
I've never seen a positive remark coming from that direction.
This has got to be one of the most identical looking multi's I've ever seen.
Great job EA.
Getting it on the PS3 for obvious reasons :P

A lot of Aku's remarks towards gaming cracks me up. Probably the same reason I'm picking up the PS3 version. They look identical. I didn't notice anything different in graphics whatsoever between the two.
I've no idea how the two or so people in this thread have noticed any difference. Unless they're fanboys :o
