Nothing wrong with that. Dino Crisis was basically RE, but Dino Crisis 2 was more action-heavy, and turned out just as awesome (Dino Crisis 3...not so much. But that's besides the point :P). I'm still pumped for Dead Space 2 :D. DethSkematik

Haha. Dino Crisis was my favorite game back in the day...imagine how happy I was when it was finally available on PSN :D. Now for the second game to come out...:PThey're going the path of Resident Evil? Please no, the horror and suspense was what made the original so great imo

I have no idea why developers do this. Maybe EA is thinking they need MW2 or Uncharted 2 style action because those games outsold Dead Space and EA is hurting for sales (here's an idea EA ME2 to ps3, easy sales). Maybe they are just trying to grab headlines and get associated with MW2 but I really don't think that more action is the right approach for the seriesThus they ruien a series in one swoop. I remember reading in the GameInfomer article that they made it more action-packed because people got too scared... that's a poor reason to change the game (how people got scared by it is beyond my comprehension), but whatever... I'm sure it will be fun regardless.

Yay yet another game casualized for the masses. What every Dead Space fan wanted. -_- Ofcourse it's not like this generation is short of survival horror games. We need more generic action TPSs with cover syst3ms like GeOW and Recharglable health. Every franchise needs to evolve into a generic action game. Every franchise needs to stay the same? Because every gamer is shallow, isn't that right EA?

The atmosphere was creepy and scaryand the feeling of being alone looking around the ship was great. I know you werent really alone,but it sure felt like it at times.It sounds like its turing into RE5 which had crappy atmosphere for it trying to be a survival horror(the devs swear it was still one) and forced co-op.

Why the hell are you changing the dynamics of the game?? Dead Space one was awesome because it was atmospheric and tense. Now you want to take that out for Dead Space 2 and replace it with more action!? Why?? To get better sales? If this is true, I can bet the developer will get less sales. What a joke!

I fail to see any big difference. Both games are highly action-packaged, and both Isaac and Chris seem to be able to handle big hordes of enemies.
The only significant difference I see is that Isaac can walk while shooting, which makes some situations very intense/fun. And that he does not have to play nanny with an annoying AI-controlled character.
Arnt u all jumping the gun already.Nothing wrong with a little action within the game.
Besides, who says theyre completly leaving the whole 'atmospheric scary' set of the game.
Game will be immense.
