i think its failry obvious from what we have seen on re5 that it is nothing like its predeccesors, it doesnt look scary at all, it has been turned into a tps action game :roll:

i mean we wont know until it comes out but if you seriesly think it will be anything like a horror game you are in for dissapointment mate

the crimson heads are far, far scarier than the regenerators in terms of gameplay and general game design.

Resident Evil 5 isn't trying to be a survival-horror game, so why would it take notes?

It's blazing a new trail in the horror genre (action-horror) whilst titles like Dead Space muddle about in the pits of derivation.

actually shawn of the dead is a horror movie. it even makes a lot of the top 100 horror movies lists. and if you listen to the commentary on the movie they mention over and over again that the movie was a horror movie with comedic aspects to it, much like evil dead 2.

is res 4 a survival horror game? well it is an action horror game that you must survive in.. so sure it is, just not a traditional one. much like shawn of the dead is not a traditional horror movie.
