Dead Space question?

i plan on getting it today i just wanted to know if there was any difference in the PS3 version to the 360 version

i thought the 360 version looked a tad better and had a more stable framerate but it rocks on both systems.

I believe the 360 version has 4 extra pixels but the PS3 version has 0.045% less framerate drops.

amazing on both, I heard it is better in Frame rate and GFX on 360 though.

Pick it based on the system you're more confortable with, the game is one hell of a ride!

No noticeable difference. Pick the one based on which controller you feel better for TPS. And play it on hard the first time, it's better that way :twisted:IronBass

You need to play it on hard from the start. It adds so much to the game when your really in danger.

Both have acheivments/trophies, and there is no online, so get what ever one you prefer the controller on, or what basic rig design you prefer.

Its a great game and their both areidentical.

The only difference is the controls really. Buy it for whichever system you feel more comfortable with the controls. I personally got it for PS3 but most of my friends got it for 360.

Unless they patched it, the ps3 version has weird shadow banding issues. It's not a huge deal, but its big enough to go for the 360 version if you have a choice. I'll try to find a picture of it. Edit: found it. The top one is ps3, the bottom one is 360.

Hmm. Well on chapter 4 after i killed the first brute the framerate dropped really bad. I was like huh? But it was only for a few seconds.

I played it on the highest difficulty setting alotted for your first playthrough and it wasn't even slightly scary. It got pretty intense, but you practically trip over ammo most of the time, the guns aren't exactly ineffective, you have plenty of health and supplies, and you can see everything coming. There are only a few parts of the game where the level design forces you to be more careful.

Yeah thats what I did. Looks amazing imo. I havent seen the consoles running it, but I'm sure it would look better in motion then the screens posted.

Both are the same. Do you want trophies or achievements? It also depends which you feel more comfortable with.

Did you play on impossible with just the pistol? Yea now thats hard. I had only two trophies left beat it on impossible and beat the game with just the pistol. So I shot down 2 birds with one stone,but dam was it hard. Not till i get to the end did it get just a tiny bit easier.
