I believe the 360 version has 4 extra pixels but the PS3 version has 0.045% less framerate drops.
I kid, they're identical
No noticeable difference. Pick the one based on which controller you feel better for TPS. And play it on hard the first time, it's better that way :twisted:IronBass:lol: yeah i was just kinda plannin on easing my way into it. i hear the fear factor in that games is pretty sky high. but yeah i was asking so i wont buy the one thats more "glitchy" than the other. but from what im seeing one has a slight framerate issue while the other has....umm....something
 yeah i was just kinda plannin on easing my way into it. i hear the fear factor in that games is pretty sky high.slvrraven9You want it to be tense? DO PLAY it on hard the first time. Trust me ;)

You need to play it on hard from the start. It adds so much to the game when your really in danger.
Dead Space is great, its in my top five games of this gen so far.
I have the PS3 version, no framerate drops, no glitchs, amazing sound. From everything that I have seen the only difference is Issac's rig is different in the two versions. Both have acheivments/trophies, and there is no online, so get what ever one you prefer the controller on, or what basic rig design you prefer.
360 fanboys: ourz haz teh betar framratz!1!
PS3 fanboys: ourz haz teh betar pixalz!1!1
Everyone else: No difference.

yeah i think in that case ill most likely be getting it on the PS3. anyways i do need to increase the size of my PS3 collection. i had seen it at Walmart in a bargin bin for like 20 bucks so hopefully its still there....Well I have it on 360 and a couple of times the framerate dropped really bad. But other than that it may just be my 360 or game, i doubt there will be any difference.
I bought it for the 360 in July and I did not notice a hitch, the game is very polished on both versions.Well I have it on 360 and a couple of times the framerate dropped really bad. But other than that it may just be my 360 or game, i doubt there will be any difference.

I bought the game used and I feel guilty :(SparkyProtocolYou should. Visceral needs your support, and you know it.

Yeah, I know. Makes me want to buy Dante's Inferno even more.SparkyProtocolThat reminds me, I tried to add you to my friends list, but your profile is private. What do you have to hide? :P

Many things >_> I didn't know it was blocked, I need to "pimp it out" sometime.SparkyProtocolWell then, track me and it will have the same effect.
The only difference is the controls really. Buy it for whichever system you feel more comfortable with the controls. I personally got it for PS3 but most of my friends got it for 360.
360
PS3
As you can see the 360 version is clearly superior :D

Hey, isn't that the Wii version?

I haven't played DS :(GiancarWhy don't you? It is cheap now, buy it new! Yeah I feel somewhat guilty, I bought Re5 instead of DS terrible mistake >_> As I have stated numerous times in SW, I regret selling Gears 2 for RE5 but I traded RE5 back and got DoW2. ( I dont play it often anymore, I am burnt out of the RTS genre for the time being)
Amazing game man, you owe it to yourself to experience, one of the real gems of this gen that's for sure. Set to be a classic no doubt. Go for the system that you feel a classic of that calibur should be played on really. Not any notable differences.i plan on getting it today i just wanted to know if there was any difference in the PS3 version to the 360 version

Well I came across this on youtube
But it really doesnt matter what system you get it on, just get it! :P

LMAO  you know what i hadnt scrolled down far enough to notice your post! thats IS why it looks so God awful! yeah he got me with that pic!
 yeah i was just kinda plannin on easing my way into it. i hear the fear factor in that games is pretty sky high.IronBassYou want it to be tense? I played it on the highest difficulty setting alotted for your first playthrough and it wasn't even slightly scary. It got pretty intense, but you practically trip over ammo most of the time, the guns aren't exactly ineffective, you have plenty of health and supplies, and you can see everything coming. There are only a few parts of the game where the level design forces you to be more careful.

Maybe 2 years ago, but not now. Most multi-plats look almost identical on both systems.
either one will not disappoint you. Great game i tell ya, i got it for pc and play with 360 controller.OPuniverse
Yeah thats what I did. Looks amazing imo. I havent seen the consoles running it, but I'm sure it would look better in motion then the screens posted.
Both are the same. Do you want trophies or achievements? It also depends which you feel more comfortable with.

Did you play on impossible with just the pistol? Yea now thats hard. I had only two trophies left beat it on impossible and beat the game with just the pistol. So I shot down 2 birds with one stone, but dam was it hard. Not till i get to the end did it get just a tiny bit easier.
