When it gets to the PC.

Reviews aren't lookin so hot. In fact, Summer of Arcade has flopped pretty bad this year. I still have hope for Dust though.

Indeed. I bought the Tony Hawks game and I pretty much freaking hate it.
I needDust to be good. Although I really don't see how it can't be.
THPS HD was a letdown, reminds me why Skate is superior.
The IGN review said 5 hours for one playthrough but now I read in the eurogamer review: "A single play-through comes in at under two hours"
I really hope that's not true because less than 2 hours is way too short for me to justify spending 1200 points on this game :(
Anyone who buys the game tomorrow, I would appreciate your input on the length.
[QUOTE="LP4EVA2005"]damn, i want this game. i pray it gets released on SteamR4gn4r0k
It's published by Microsoft so chances are very slim it'll come to PC.

UghhhYou read it right.
Gears of War, Halo, Forza, Kameo, Shadow Complex, ... : all published by Microsoft, all exclusive to Xbox.
There are exceptions like Fable, GeoW 1 and Halo 1 &2. But don't expect this game to show up on PC any time soon.
The reason we got Alan Wake on PC after years of waiting is because of Remedy and not MS, because MS wanted it to stay exclusive.
Now it could be Tequilla will do the same as Remedy, you can pray ;)
I am excited. I hope it doesn't transform into a gorefest "shoot zombies" type of game halfway through.
Looks like an amazing title that suffers from the same thing Journey and Limbo suffer from. Too f*cking short.
Not sure how the combat would be bad, it looks to have the same aiming system Shadow Complex had.. and that was very easy to use. -- Uneven voice acting and environment complaints = 6.5?

your rolly eyes gave it away. Why would I be mad? Just think those are stupid reasons to deduct for an arcade game.

Never heard of this game but hey if its good, priced at $20 and on PS3 i'll buy it :)
i enjoy playing new games.. i just finished Red Faction armageddon yesterday and boy how amazing that game was :o.. i always enjoy playing games that i think are bad then turn out to be addictive/amazing.. loved that game and i only bought it for $9 :/
cheap great games ftw
Speaking of Deadlight, the XBL Summer of Arcade sale offer is such a joke grr...400 MSP back for 3 games?! With only Deadlight and Dust the interesting looking SoA titles, it's hard to pull the trigger knowing that they'll be 800 MSP or less in a few months.

Deadlight 6.5 GS score (GS Video Review), super short few hour game, considered basic/lackluster/shallow gameplay with a great atmosphere...I'd wait. I know Limbo, Braid, and Journey were short as well...but those are scored fantastic. Deadlight isn't doing so well...AND it's short.
This one is bound for discount city once the suckers are done buying this for full price...Deadlight has been scoring a 69/100 at metacritic so it's not like it's kicking a** and GS was the outlier. Knowinig Metacritic, it's going to go down the next few weeks.
Summer of Arcade has Tony Hawk HD for $15 f***ing dollars, now $15 Deadlight dropped the ball. So far, Summer 2012 is the worst year yet for the promotion. Perhaps, Hybrid and Dust will pick it back up, or perhaps the suits needed to more focus. They are spending too much on marketing and Kinect I think, and while that was obvious at retail, XBLA was a saving grace for some gamers.
It's a shame because I too was hoping this game would kick a** as I haven't bought a XBLA game in a while, and I would have loved for this to score high at various sites.

but its ok that journey is two hours?

It's not okay for either...but at least one of the games has been critically acclaimed and the other is apparently shallow and incredibly basic based on the reviews. I don't know why Journey (92/100 metacritic) was brought up, but that's my take.
I'm not a fan of this $15 business for either game, but with a 69/100 metacritic average for Deadlight (probably will fluctuate in the next few days) from this developer, this 6.5 score isn't too surprising. I may pick Deadlight up for $1-$5 next year on sale or whatever.
Deadlight was made by Tequila Works and this is their first game, so I don't know why gamers always expect new developers to be amazing on their first outing. Plus, it seems they were aping Limbo, but just missing the original games beats. It would be great if devs could start out great day one like Rocksteady, but the bar is high. Journey on the other hand was crafted by a more veteran developer, and it took them three tries to get a metascore that high (thatgamecompany who started with a 71/100 Flow, then did 87/100 Flower, and finally landing at 92/100 with Journey). Perhaps Tequila will perform in a similar fashion on the sophomore outing.
I will also pick up Journey someday, but for sub $10, as again I'm not feeling this $15 for short games...plus I have a great backlog of AAA-AA retail games I've still yet to play.
Journey is actually 90 minutes and literally has zero gameplay. I literally held forward on the analog and press X a couple times and then I was done.

Considering the previous games Flow and Flower I'm a bit surprised that you expected something else from thatgamecompany. :P That's what they craft, short, easy, tranquil games.
I didn't buy Journey for $15 for that very reason, but one day I will own it for sub $10.
