Resident Evil remake obliterates them all. Chris on hard = I beat the game with 0 bullets left. That's true survival.Salt_The_FriesI still say the action is too clunky, and RE 4 is just paced so much better. Both are excellent though. REremake comes with one major issue though. It replaced the greatest voice acting of all time. That should be considered a crime.

For me the action in REmake is the best it could be in that "gameplay frame", it's the perfect balance between "old" and "new", plus the fact you have to either decapitate or incinerate zombies, or else they will become something a lot more vicious overtime is just frigging cool and encourages strategic planning and forces you to look for kerosene.
Dead Space.
RE4 was awesome for it's time but it's a GC game and 5 is a COOP TPS for crying out loud....
DS1 was amazing and the sequel looks to be keeping the pace.
Open areas are terrible in DS2 considering how fast some necromorphs can move compared to your slugish turning speed, you almost need coridors and choke points to survive in the harder difficulties "on zealot for my first playthrough and I often find myself running to the nearest hallway to survive the onslaught of monsters that 2 shot me.Jynxzor
Admittedly I haven't finished DS1 so my opinion could change but corridor shooting always equals a no no for me personally.
