Deal or No Deal: Trade In Your PS4 and Get A XBox One for $100.

Some people who own a ps4 right now may not be interested in it that much anymore so they would like to get rid of it. They would probably would want to buy another next gen console(like the xbox one) instead and this deal would make it a lot easier for them to get an xbox one.

I know none , literally , that would do such a thing.

Pay 100$ to trade for a far worse hardware and overall system ? For what ? Halo 5 or what ? Come on now .. whoever genunienly does this trade let me know .. with facts . I doubt anyone will do that.

@AzatiS: im doing it right now as we speak i had my ps4 since day 1 and i will pick up another one next fall when it has games i cant play on my pc or now my xbone ......im also picking up halo5,forza6, and i will get rare replay in the bundle and extra controller , sunset overdrive also....o and i will be grabbing tomb raider ......but i will get battlefront on pc

I don't think I would, even if the deal was reversed and I only had to pay $100 to trade in my Xbox One for the Playstation 4.

@doug-e-dope: I dont think nobody would trade in an Xbox One for a PS4 even if you could swap even. That would be cray cray. Xbox One has too many good exclusives right now.

Enjoy, it is a great system. I actually wish I would have waited until next year to pick up a PS4, as that is the year that it finally looks worth it to me. That said, depending on how games like No Man's Sky and Horizon turn out, I may end up dumping it for the NX when it releases. I like exclusives and features like backwards compatibility being added and so far the PS4 has simply not produced anything for me beyond Bloodborne.

No Deal. I love my PS4 and have a lot of games for it unless MS want to refund me for the games and give me a bundle I won't regret this is a no deal.

I have not bought a ps4 yet for the same reason and because sony canada also decided to up the price of the console like a year ago because the dollar dropped a bit in the last year or two The console is now only $20 cheaper than before the price increase, but it's still expensive and barely any games interest me yet so I rather wait for like another year or two until the price of the console drops further.

Exactly. It's ironic for me, because last-gen, I preferred the PS3 over the Xbox 360. Now I find that the Xbox One is catering to my needs across the board in terms of exclusives, constant support, a better experience with Xbox Live, great services like EA Access and features like adding in backwards compatibility so I can enjoy much of my 360 library across the same account on my Xbox One.

On the flip-side, Sony just seems like they care more about being the big dog for third parties and PSN has actually been worse for me than it was on the PS3 when it was free. In short, I think that the PS4 has been about nothing but sales and clever '4 da gamahs' marketing hype so far. But I will say that it looks like it is going to pick up some steam in 2016 with Uncharted 4, No Man's Sky and Horizon. We shall see.

If i only had a PS4 and If i couldn't afford to have both like I already do, I would totally take this deal. XB1 the only place to get Tomb raider and halo 5 this holiday. and halo 5 is the best game this generation by far

As the saying goes, "A fool and his money are soon parted." Unless you recently purchased a PS4 or you bought one used, you're essentially spending $500 ($400 PS4 + $100) for an Xbox, a game, and a controller. I hope you didn't buy any games for this PS4 that I doubt you even own, because you're going to be losing even more money on those.

With the slightest bit of patience, you'll be able to pick up some pretty cheap holiday bundles on the Xbox. Again, I have serious doubts you own a PS4 and don't already own an Xbox judging by your posts.

Because they have a surplus of xbox ones sitting in their stock room screaming "MASSIVE LOSS" ...

They know they'll sell off the PS4s they get for the trade extremely quickly..and at a decent profit too since theyll be sold as refurbished systems.... Uninformed people will eat this silly deal up. You're better off just saving up enough money to buy the xbone and owning both consoles than to give up one for the other.

If you're looking to trade in, at least trade in previous gen systems for current gen systems. Don't trade in a current gen console for another current gen console, for crying out loud...

It's just natural that if a developer puts their game on one console, the smartest choice is PS4 because of how much bigger its install base is than the other two consoles. A very similar thing happened with the early years of 360.
