@last_lap: Tells you how bad Indy was.
Decima engine is king for open world games.
xbox wish they had a graphical power house like this.
but but sony has no games.
You mean the same game that was also release on Xbox?🤭
still sony's engine is it not? I should of worded it differently. xbox wish they had a engine like decima. doesn't change the fact decima is king for open worlds.
I wish sony gave to third party developers and other studios. to see what they can come up with.
@gifford38: The Decima engine seems better than the Unreal Engine 5 engine. The framerate for Unreal Engine 5 can be terrible while the Decima engine runs at a great framerate and the graphics look great at the same time for open world games.
yeah the decima seems to run smoother. I wish sony let third party developers use there engine.

I find the open world engine in Forza Horizon 5 to be much better.
@taint: disagree. I found the gameplay in DS to be really fun. Traversing all the different terrain was quite challenging. Especially very early on, when all you have is the leg braces. Thankfully you get access to vehicles after about 2 hours in. Then connecting all the regions by zip lines and roads, make everything smooth sailing.

Sorry, I meant gameplay graphics. Not gameplay.

kind weird to say a open world racing game is better. not much going on in a racing game.
but yes forza looks great. wish they made game that was not just driving.

Fable 4 is using that engine.
yeah I know it looks great graphical but the character looks so gringe lol. she looks like she couldn't even pick up a sword nevermind use it. but I think it was delayed because she quit. so now they need a new lead character.

lol no
thats what I heard not sure if it was true or not. if its not my bad.
The lead writer left. But she left on good terms. She was in the middle of writing two books, so she changed her career.
Out of those 20M players, assuming around 5-10M of those are sales, that would be on-par with MGS sales. Kojima was able to replicate the success of MGS with a new IP, even though it was basically a walking sim.
But I wonder if he could replicate that success with DS2? Many fans were disappointed with the first DS... That could be why Kojima decided to bring back "Stranded Snake" in DS2.
