While not official, Xbox One numbers appear to be near 18 Million if Windows 10 on Xbox One activations say anything.

Here's my prediction. Both consoles had an increase over November and no console or handheld will be able to sell 2 million in December in the US.

Not really. Curious to see if they sold more units then they did in November. That's about all I want to know. Won't stop me from playing all 3 systems this year.

It's fun to make fun of Xbox one; but as far as sales go the console is done.

I predict Sony sells a lot and the WiiU will surprise many with how many it sold.

I wasn't trying to call you out. I'm seriously curious why you think it will be surprising compared to last month. Have there been any new releases(Xenoblade?) or something other factor that would push sales?

@StrongBlackVine: It just seems more ppl are warming up to the idea of owning a WiiU. I made a thread here of which system do you not own that you want the most....and WiiU got like 45% out of 5 systems. Thats a big chunk.

I know of several ppl in real life that said they wanted a WiiU, recently....I am one.

Just a feel I get, I guess.

Not saying theres going to be like 1.3 million of them sold in Dec. alone or anything...but there are many on this forum that discount the WiiU right off the bat....and I personally feel like while the number might not be huge...it'll be bigger than many would anticipate.

I hope so. I find myself wanting a WiiU more and more as time goes by....I'd like to see it do well.

The Playstation 4 curve stomped the xbone again, as the bone lacks the heritage, brand power, library, line up and support the PS4 does have in abundance. That's my prediction for every NPD result.

In the last few Decembers the WiiU has sold 250K+ more than the previous month. The WiiU usually has gotten a boost during December.

The Xbone was cheaper head to head for more days than PS4 was , so there is no reason that Xbone shouldn't win. And on top of that Microsoft has their strongest lineup in history and incredibly deep pockets for marketing unlike broke Sony. No more excuses.

Yet the PS4 is marketed alot more.

$18 million Xbox One sold sounds okay to me despite they aren't official by MS but anyways, since December was mostly Star Wars hype, Battlefront PS4 bundles was part of The Force awakens hype train so that totally help boost PS4 sales considering Sony had the right for marketing so PS4 obvious won December NPD.

At this point, who cares anymore. PS4 won this gen hands down already lol

It's barely tracking above the first XBox in WW sales at this point. Halo 5 bump did not save the day. In fact, the 2:1 sales ratio is now confirmed.

Glad you made the thread, obviously its so worth it with all the past threads claiming MS victory based off of Amazon and BestBuy trends,. I pick Sony to win by 200k units, so similar to November. Both consoles nushed great value bundles so we should see Black Friday type numbers(For Month, not 1 day)in December leading up to Christmas.

I've been playing battlefront and alien isolation on my ps4. I can't figure out what the hype is. It's okay..games feel like last gen. Not as fun as when I game on the Wii U.

I mean I don't expect a sticky or anything like that, but there's a distinct lack of conversation in this thread compared to past NPDs. Especially last month's.

Xbone should be over 11 mil. in US and PS4 should be over 12 mil. after the NPD report for December.
