It can go both ways. It definitely takes some dedication to get into it. Many will be put off by the dificulty.

I own this game and it does nothing for me. The environment and just the atmosphere takes me back to my times with the awful KuF: CoD. It's not quite similar, as this is way more hardcore and difficult, but it just lacks something. It's just freaking boring.

I'm guessing it'll score an 8 here and will be put down for being dificult and forcing you to "acclimate" yourself to it.

So for anyone patient perseverent it should be AAA.

Game actually looks pretty cool. I like that you arent a meatbag like in Oblivion where you just stood there trading blows with the epic world-beating monsters like you were in a barfight. That guy was dodging and rolling for his life against that troll thing, it was awesome!:D

The only person I know who owns a PS3 is at work all the time.. I'm def hi-jacking it to rent this game:P

Demons Soul and WKC will make PS3 owners happy, they are two quality RPGs and I've played both of them.

he's been saying the same thing for the last month or two. The atmosphere and environment are boring and the combat is clunky. Then after he was proven wrong about the combat, he said it's boring and "grind" which it is not. He has never voiced his opinion on what his likes and dislikes were about the game, because I'm pretty sure he doesn't even own it. An example from his quote is about the environment. Which one!? Theres 5 completely different dungeons, with 2-4 completely unique looking zones.

On top of that the game isn't even that difficult. For a first playthrough it's harder than your average game, but after that, you can actually do 30 minute clears per level. After playing for about 5-10 hours the game becomes A LOT easier.

He has yet to answer my questions about the game and the only real way for him to prove it would be via picture or PSN. But since his profile is set on private, I highly doubt he'll be giving his PSN out any time soon (because he probably doesn't have the game and he probably doesn't have a ps3).

Demon's souls is the best RPG game I played till now in this generation but stop making 10000000000000000000000000 topics about it you dont need to hype it that much.

I hope so. Fable 2 was the worst game i've played this gen. So boring, repetative, and the story ... dear god the story was horrible.

The only saving grace was the mini game where you made weapons.

Demon's Souls is an incredible game. I'm glad I imported the fully-English Asian copy.

Haters can hate, but this is the best game I've played this year.

As far as Demon Soul goes, game looks cool. I hope those aren't the camera angles because they're horrible. Really though you're trying to compare JRPG to WRPG. Don't.

Not sure whats with the Phail-ble 2 stuff is about as I found Fable 2 to be a good game but anyway. Yeah, Demon Soul's has me interested and I'm gonna keep my eye on it andmight pick it up whenever it comes out over here.

It has sold more than 200k. It sold 176k in the last week and is in the top 5 sales wise for PS3 exclusives.
