From Software doesn't make as 'under the radar' games as Atlus, they're also going through financial trouble.
ehhh.. Outside of Armored Core, From Software has NO well known franchises (even among gaming circles) Atlus Has the Persona/SMT franchises, Ogre Battle, Trauma Center which in my opinion are all pretty big franchises (niche or not, they rarely go under the radar) Games like Otogi and Lost Kingdoms however just seemed to get swept under the rug, despite both being fantastic franchises. More people talk about Ninja Blade (also a From game) than they do Otogi, and Otogi was the better game in my opinion. Atlus is also primarily a publisher. They have a lot more to fall back on than their own franchises (Demon's Soul included)... as a matter of fact, do they even develop anymore? From Software is a niche title developer that sadly just doesn't get the recognition they deserve. They have fantastic artists and are always taking risks with gameplay. Demon's Soul and Lost Kingdoms are evidence of this. For the most part if Trauma center doesn't sell well for atlus, they still know SMT games will sell pretty well in Japan atleast. even From Software doesn't have a lot of luck in its own territory.Yes, they still do develop, and they release a lot of niche titles like The Dark Spire, Luminous Arc, Class of Heros, etc.
P.S. To the guy asking of Demon's Souls is the hardest platium to get, I think it's Disgaea 3 is the hardest.

dont know bout that.. havent played disgea.. might try it soon.. but im on my new game+++++ thats 5 new game i have played and i havent even got my platinum,, everytime you start a new game enemies keeps getting harder and harder,, boss battles 1 hit sometimes.. its all over for me.. :P

Then Bio probably wouldn't even touch it. :PMhmm, but I would.. Going to get Record of Agarest war on PSN in a week or so. If it's good enough I'll buy the collectors edition from europe.. I want it to get enough sales so they'll release more tactical RPGs/JRPGs/games from the series/visual novels/etc.. It's coming out November 9th for PSN..
