I LOVE the Legacy of Kain series....but I never played Eternal Darkness.

However, after watching an interview or two with Dennis Dyack and seeing his immaturity on Neogaf....I've gotta say, I don't have any respect at all for THAT GUY.

Now, then again, there is a possibility that the rest of the development team could pick themselves up, but please...

Too Human does not need to be vouched for, by anyone. The story was the only thing that made the awful gameplay mechanics in most of the Legacy of Kain games tolerable (although I preferred the earlier ones to Defiance, oddly enough...which was developed by Crystal Dynamics).

What makes you think I haven't played them. I bought LOK for the dreamcast and ED was the reason I bought a gamecube alongside REremake

I could pick out MGS4 and talk about how bad the environment textures are. Was that because of hardware limitations or what? I don't think it was, because we saw that Uncharted could do amazing environment textures on PS3 hardware. Eternal Darkness is just an old game now, but for it's time, it was right up there. All games have their flaws, last generation, this generation, and every generation before those. Every single game has flaws. Nothing is perfect. So if you're going to criticize one game for it, then do it for every game.

Most people who have bought the game like it a lot. I stated in my review that I have a lot of issues with it, but there's some solid groundwork there. The sequel should be able to work out the kinks.

I like Dyack. I find it funny that he makes everyone complain. His complaining makes people mad, then they complain. It's just a beauiful thing to see such hypocrisy in the works.

No. The right analog stick combat works very well. That's one of the ups. The downs are the camera and projectile targeting.
