Despite how much you hate MW2 all you MW2 haters......

How much time have you put into the MP ? I Love it so I don't count as a MW2 hater, but I have put something like 120 hours into the MP, fantastic game.

Well, it's not that the game sucks, it's that it's too damn easy to exploit. They went too crazy with the perks, made some BAD choices with the knife and explosives. Black Ops looks to be 100 times better.

Many people here hate it because it's a popular shooter from a milked franchise. Thats no way to bash a game

I do think the multiplayer was fun, but like someone previously said, the perks are pretty over bearing at times.

Between 10-50. Enough to get the first prestige. I didn't like the hide & seek, first to see gets the kill, kind of gameplay. Encouraged camping so much that if you didn't do it, you were gimping yourself. I remember consistently getting nukes on the on the airport level in that territory game type (The one with areas marked A, B, C) by camping under the plane, behind some mesh thing. People would be rushing the center area so often that I would have racked up enough kills for a Pavelow (I think that was it?) before someone would try to come after me, & then I'd just hide somewhere while it racked up kills.

it was fun for while i admit. But! it is properly one of the most noob-friendly, over-perked and "consolized" fps to date.

Its just HORRIBLE in every aspect.

i've put like 15 days worth or something and I despise the game for the most part, since this game is what EVERYONE on my friend's list is always playing=/ i hvae a 2.23 K/D but still, I hate most aspects of the multiplayer in general

campaign was too epic for words though.

I don't hate MW2, but I've spent less than a hour in MP. Unless you count spec ops which I cleared on veteran with a friend.

I played it quite a bit and enjoyed it at first but after awhile I grew tired of the unbalanced mechanics and horrible map design and stopped playing all together

Only the true addicts find it to be a fantastic game.

70 hours before I sold it. I regret selling it now. I was all ready to jump on the hate mw2 bandwagon and now I miss it :( At least I have W@W

I've put in 200+ hours. I just can't stop, which is why I got a 4.83 k/d ratio.

I've put at least 100 hours into it. Its the only online game me and my friends play. And even that I hardly play it, i've 100% the campaign and almost done Spec ops. I cant trade it in for 2 reasons: My friends will still want to play it, 2: Its cracked because of the case >_>

Bad Company 2 will probably pass it eventually.

lolwut? You must have enjoyed it since you played it for 50+ hours...now a days even RPGs don't last that long. So I don't know why you are hating it.

I like Modern Warfare 2. But the Campaign was short.....and I bought Modern Warfare 2 for the Campaign.

I should have known better.....well at least Multiplayer is ok.

Why would you put a lot of hours into a game you hate? But, if we don't put a lot of hours in, our opion doesn't count.

It doesn't take 120 hours of anything to figure out if you're having fun or not.

Nah i have better games to play.

0 hours. In the mean time I put in close to 1500 hours into Counter Strike since Steam started recording hours beyond 2 weeks.

I boycotted the game because of lack of Dedicated servers, lean and other nonsense like this.

Im currently playing through the campaign after borrowing it from a friend...its very err kinda generic really..

I liked KZ2's a lot more.

MW2's MP does have its annoying problems, but I still managed to fit in 148 (and counting) hours for it.

I voted 0-10. The perks are dumb, the glitches are annoying, the constant cheaters are pathetic, etc. None of it was good. Call of Duty 4 is a better multiplayer game than Modern Warfare 2, plain and simple. I'm not saying this as a CoD zealot or anything. I think CoD4 is a fun shooter but far from one of the best shooters ever as many claim. But CoD quickly went from a fun shooter to the same game only worse than the previous years.

Modern Warfare 2 needed at least another year in development. They could have ironed out a lot of things and made it better than CoD4. As it stands, it's a bad game (at least in my opinion, I know people that play it regularly :P)

I don't know, 7-8 i guess. Most of the time was spent in spec ops.

200+ hours... then i got BC2 which felt so much better to play. I like the weight the movement has, CoD is about twitch gameplay, I find BC2 requires more thought process, more teamplay.

Fantastically broken game. They need to spend more time on multiplayer maps, because the ones out there are terrible.

I played it when Steam was doing as free weekend and I absolutely hated it.
