As usual, Destiny's late to the party.

After the way The Taken King crippled the core game for those who were reluctant buy (and the way I hear it, can't buy TTK alone without the previous two DLCs), Destiny became dead to me.
@AdobeArtist: I believe you can buy Taken King DLC alone but that's only Digital Download from PSN Store and the dics version is with all DLCs and the main game.
Well I enjoyed them for far longer than I thought I would. And I am still interested in playing some campaigns.
But the series is soulless, and has been for a while now.
Eh, not really. The Infinity Ward ones, sure. The Treyarch ones? Soulless is not a good adjective to use for them.
Mundane, derivative, scripted and cinematic to the point where they have more in common with a really shitty roller coaster than a video game. Badly written tripe with forced first person custcene bullshit you can't skip, right down to nonsense cinematic walking, mediocre sounding and skill less shooting mechanics that lack any reasonable feedback at this point, multiplayer that is completely devoid of balance of any kind.
Yeah man, great.
Its funny because it looks like Konami just got Destiny completely off the hook of public scrutiny.
As for the actual topic.... we'll see. If they actually end up delivering on this "free DLC" it juuuuuust might end up being worth it.
