Also Destiny shows up 3 times in the top 10 "add-ons" for September as well. So much for all that "Evil, greedy Activision" talk. Just more proof that the message board world and the real world are 2 different places.

Yeah, because it was the cheapest way ($40) to get The Taken King if you already owned the expansions.

I suspect that in NPDs, MGS V will be the number one seller.

The crazy thing is, that's Destiny, the game that launched 13 months ago that outsold MGSV not The Taken King. TTK is listed in "Add-On" sales.

when you think about it, all those people with Destiny just needed to download the DLC, whereas many people prefer their games on disc and probably explains why Taken King downloads beat MGSV downloads from PS Store, I'd expect as much from the XBO digital store too, but I'd expect MGSV to beat Taken King as far as physical retail goes

Man Destiny is going down as the GOAT. That game wanted to be an MMORPG but said Fcuk it lets be the greatest cash grab of all time. Destiny's marketing team deserves an award for the work they do to convince people to buy this game.
