Deus Ex dev hopes Deus Ex sells more Wii U units + fixed content

I'm not here to speculate about the status of it right now, but we just delivered the ultimate experience and we just took advantage of all the Wii U features in every possible way we can. So hopefully, things will pick up in the future, and we'll make some new and old fans pretty happy with this version. Well, I guess since Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate helped Wii U sales a bit in Europe, anything's possible I suppose. But then again, that game had bundles, Capcom shut down the online for the original Wii version, and UK retailers unnoffically cut prices...

The link also states that the fixed Wii U content is not currently planning to leave Wii U... at least as of yet (I'll give them until a month before or after this releases).

I still found more point in other belated ports though.

They were late, but they came out the same year (2005 and 2006 respectively). Not to mention, at least Tomb Raider has had SOME sort of Nintendo fanbase since then.

New raid mode stuff and a new difficulty above Hell called Inferno with remixed item and enemy layout.

Eh it wont do much. The ones who will buy it are more core gamers, so the chances for many sales is slim. It may pick up some wii console only stragglers though.

I bought the game for like 75 percent off an already low price. This version does sound good though at least.

I love nintendo but this is just sad, a 2 year port of a game we have already played the crap out of, Suppose its awesome for the nintendo people who only had a wii last gen, but for the rest of us its hardly exciting.

This is the version I'll be buying. Looks like the definitive console version.

I got the game for $7.50 during a steam sale. As much as I would am curious to this version Idk if i would be willing to pay $50 for a port :?

When it releases it automatically becomes the best game on the Wii U. And a game that good has already been played by everyone. It was a noble effort for nothing and will not even sell a half a million copies. Tomb Raider made more sense to bring out.
