WTF?

Is this real?

rilpas

Yeah, it's real. EA tried the same guest star strategy Namco did with Nintendo using their characters, but unlike where it worked for Namco where they used Link from Zelda, it didn't work for EA (we'd be seeing Player's Choice versions if it did).

Here's Namco's success:

Soul Calibur II

For a time, it was the best selling version until the PS2 version (which contained Tekken's Heihachi, in my opinion the weakest of the guest stars) overtook it in lifetime sales.

The Sheep in me wants to collect those GC versions of NBA Street 3 and SSX On Tour though.

So you are a fool? This is assuming you currently own a PS3 or 360...

You are a fool and stupid too if you would pay $60 for a port of game that is going for $10 on just about every other platform.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution is one of my favorite games this gen but if Eidos thinks they are going to move a bunch of Wii U systems with this game they are wrong.

Not a great way to promote Wii U with a 1.5 year old multiplat.

I'm sad they aren't updating current versions to support the improved boss fights and added features, but I guess I could always try the Wii U version if I really want to down the line. I've only played through it once so it would allow me to make some changes to my playstyle.

Whatever happened to Deus Ex: Human Defiance? Was that really just an April Fools' joke? Or is it still a game/movie?

Not a single person in this world is going to shell out hundreds of dollars to play 2 year old Deus Ex on a Wiiu.

TheWalkingGhost

And even less give two s**ts what you think.

Agreed. Because I am definitely going to shell out 60 dollars for the game.

If they match Deus Ex 1 and Deus Ex Human Revolution and use the touchscreen clever for inventory and minimap, Im gonna buy Wii U just to play it.

I actaully bought the cube verison over the ps2 version of ssx because it had those mario characters in it. Should of included Link and Samus in ssx as well!

I think this game's going to pull a Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition.

Not $60. But $50.

what's funny is if you search for Deus Ex Human Revolution, Augmented Edition is right above this version and it's being sold for $20.

Oh Eidos/Square....why did you think this was a good idea?

My accolades for taking a chance.

My criticism for even bothering with the Wii U.

I guess they thought the re-tuned boss fights alone were worth extra money.
