Definitely Rockstar, for reasons already thoroughly explained.

CDPR always comes to mind. Kinda been that way since TW2, but didn't really kick off until TW3. Relatively speaking tho, they only just started riding that wave, could still turn shit around and actually earn it. And they have managed to improve game over game so far.

Rockstar has run this shit for years though, and shows no sign of ever changing. Which it's like, why should they? If I could pull in that kind of money for releasing mediocre gameplay I'd to it too lol.

Here's just one example that is Commander mode you have to manage your team this video doesn't do it justice there's alot of multitasking.

in tactical shooters you give commands to your teammate, your movement is slow and based on realism, gunfire also based on realism. gameplay in BF2 still arcadey.

The voice acting and sound design of Hellblade was pretty damn good, but both the combat and the puzzle solving were actually quite lame. I stopped after getting to the 2nd or 3rd puzzle and never bothered to return. They were just such monotonous and boring puzzles.

DICE. They need to come up with something new, Battlefield is getting stale. Battlefield has been stale for the past three or four games. Basically it started going downhill after Bad Company 2.

Just about every Japanese developer. No, I'm not racist; I love pretty much everything else from Japan, from filmmakers to food to the women and art and all that stuff. I just don't get the hype surrounding pretty much anything around any Japanese game, from Resident Evil to Final Fantasy to Dark Souls to...anything. That's mostly my fault, but there you have it.

* Naughty Dog - Story should always be the back burner to gameplay, not the other way around.

* Nintendo - One or two quality titles a generation is a terrible quota. Too dependent on legacy and poor on innovation. Every start of their new generation we’re told they’ll change and be different, but they never follow through.

* Guerrilla - Killzone has always been poor to mediocre at best. I’ve heard Zero Dawn is good - but that’s one title.

* Square Enix - They’ve ruined or abandoned every Eidos property. Tomb Raider’s future is in doubt under Square’s ownership.

* Namco - What have you done for me lately? How has Ridge Racer been so silent when arcade racers are in such demand?

I guess for me, it's Rockstar. GTA and Bully don't appeal to me, Manhunt for all it's controversy is just okay. The only games of theirs that resonate with me are Red Dead and Max Payne (if only I can fix MP1 on Win 10 as I was liking that, but it was too muted).

the thing is, My games have depth, most of your games are glorified console title that pretend to be PC games.

• My STAKER have more depth than your Far Cry and also Crysis too.
• My Doom and Eternal have more depth than FEAR (although FEAR is also my game too)
• My Mafia 1 have more depth than your GTA and sleeping dogs. and not even close.
• My Prey 2017 make your Prey 2006 feel like childish and casual shooter.

Don't get me wrong. I recently replayed Uncharted 1 through 3 and I'm dying to play Uncharted 4. They are fantastic games.

But see, the way the press and reviewers kept hyping up their games. Kept handing out 10s and GOTYs... That's the reason we are in the situation we are today. Now every game has to be overly polished, overly reliant on witty characters, have way too many cutscenes, ... Lack of real gameplay: a lot of gameplay situations in Uncharted just revolve around pressing one button.

Like I said, I love playing Uncharted. I just don't want every game feeling like Uncharted.

Everything I’ve read seems to point out their disdain for the one character in question kills the main protagonist and also a woman with child. And to add insult to injury, you’re forced to play the second half of the game as this monster.

That’s the problem with ND. Their games are too linear with no options to play a game YOU want to. If ever there was a game that let you make choices and have multiple endings/outcomes, it’s this one.

I was leaning towards Nintendo, as their games get glowing 10's out the wazoo. But the problem with choosing Nintendo is that, quite frankly, their games are bloody good. Even their "B-Team" games like Kirby are just genuinely good games.

My pick would be Bethesda. I've had a love/hate relationship with their games for years. Skyrim is hot garbage with movement, physics, gameplay, voice acting, and animations that would have felt dated in 2005. But everyone gobbled it up because of the quantity of things to do. Those things, it turned out, were absolutely insultingly shallow. Despite the good art design, the game goes out of it's way to ruin my suspension of disbelief. Everyone goes ape over the "emergent gameplay," but it's usually some form is suspension-of-disbelief-ruining jank. Bethesda games tend to do a LOT of mediocre and poor things, with once again a notable exception being art design.

Fallout 4 I feel the same way. I have no hopes in this studio anymore despite the random sprinkle of a good idea that shows its head once or twice in each of their games.

Take for instance the last of us. Gameplay wise it’s trash. It’s so buggy, it’s shooting mechanics are terrible, it’s crafting is terrible, the AI is terrible. You’ll be crouching moving around and Eli or Tess or whoever will just be sprinting all over around the enemy so stupid. But the story is unreal. Even with all that I still love the game.

Activision. I am getting really tired of the Call of Duty franchise. COD3 and COD4 were great, but that is a long time ago.

Nintendo. Old school Nintendo (Arcade, NES and SNES) was king. But this company hasn't been doing anything for traditional hardcore gamers for many years now, their gimmicky hardware always limiting their games. Nintendo 64? Underpowered due to catridge limits. Wii? A mainstream gimmick. WiiU? I don't know what to say. Their latest game Super Mario Odyssey? Laughable compared to the immaculate Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros 3 and Super Mario World
