Devil May Cry 4 gets exclusive PS3 treatment

While the opinion of certain gaming Web sites is that Devil May Cry 4 currently looks and plays better on Sony's latest console, expectant PS3 fans can also look forward to exclusive 5.1 LPCM audio support, PlayStation Network content, and - most interestingly - the ability to install game data directly onto the PlayStation 3 hard drive.

I'm more interested in the PSN exclusive content.

As for the rest, I don't really care, and I don't think many people will - prove me wrong.

well if u want to u can install the game and that will eliminate a lot of load times.

At present, details relating to the exclusive PlayStation Network features have not been uncovered, although Internet chatter suggests it could well arrive as gamelay-lengthening episodic content, additional characters, extra weaponry, or even new boss encounters.

That would be cool......although, it really doesn't matter, I own both systems. Gives me reason to definitely purchase the PS3 version however.

I'm 99% sure that the exclusive DLC will be nothing more than alternate outfits.

I'm getting the ps3 version tho...mostly because of controller preference for action games.

Unless its 100% confirmed its episodic content, or something that has to do with the single player(something meaningful) than i wont care that i can only buy the 360 version right now.

DMC - Dante Must Die was not even hard. That game is a straight buttonmasher while using the jump button. No, if any skill required. It took me over 2 years and 160 hours (on a naturally 12 hour game)to beat NGB on Ninja Master. THAT, is a hard game.

I agree. GOW though is also really hard on god mode and i think is more fun than ninja gaiden or DMC.

I wonder if anyone has ever given any thought as to how deep the combo system/style system is.

That alone makes DMC3 the deepest of the so called "button mashers", because anyway you look at Ninja Gaiden is the exact same.

DMC throws hordes of retraded AI at you, and just makes them attack more, hit harder and die slower as difficulty goes up.

This really doesn't change the playstyle at all.

Full umcompressed 5.1 LPCM surround is great.

But I don't think it's due to any bias on Capcom's part, simply because the 360 is incapable of lossless surround sound.

Or better yet sum video footage, or even better, a preview that states so? Im not tryna be a bastard, its just that I have been away for a while, and dunno what i may have missed :P

The fool is going on about GTs Devil May Cry 4 comparison. I love it how lemmings grip onto just once source when theirs about another 5-6 sources that counter-act the argument. GTHD trailers are notfull HD, rather just high resolution, they do not output pure hd(1080p or 720p), also, the video was not running at 60FPS which is what DMC4 is RUNNING at, so GTHD comparison = Worthless.

If you wanna see the real output of the PS3 version, check out Ruliwebs footage which is over 200mb for 7 minutes footage. THATS what DMC4 on PS3 supposed to look like.

if i can play it as a port on pc with terrible resolutions and controls I'm sure as hell not gonna mind any difference's when playing it on my xbox 360...nothing really makes that big a difference that id buy a ps3 for the benefits so i don't see the point of such a topic

its like saying halo is coming on ps3 but wont have single player...its not a big deal
