Even with the wide variety of combo's, it's the same **** over and over and over again.
I agree, it gets repetative...unlike games like NG with being able to get more weapons and have a huge moves list for each weapon.
like i said, capcom fell short with DMC4, but thats my opinion.

Well to perform very different combos, you have to time your pressing of buttons to get different combos, like slash, pause, slash slash, or slash slash, pause, slash. And if you on swordmaster style, you can create even more different combos.
That's the bad thing about DMC4, Dante is gimped down to 3 swords instead of 5, and Lucifier feels more like a gun than a sword, so basically Dante only has 2 swords. If you played DMC3, you can create endless combos with swordmaster style.
Another bad thing is that DMC4 level design is so lazy, its basically from point A to B then back to A. The previous DMC are not like that. Also, Nero's Buster is so cheap, you can kill almost anything by just spamming Buster, heck even in God of War you have to weaken enemy first to use grab. Like you said capcom fall short with DMC4, but no other action game beats DMC3 (Vergil>>>Nero), not even NG.
