Devil may cry 4 loading amazingly fast on ps3

i just want to say that im soo glad i got DMC4 for my ps3 than 360 (mostly cause the controller im used to)
the load time is really super fast, this should be an option for all games in my opinion, if u have the space, make it to use...

also, whats the max HP nero can get collecting blue orb fragments?

My friend just beat it and let me borrow it today, the 360 version, The game is pretty awesome Nero is sweet especially in boss battles. The loading times are like 3 or 4 seconds for the 360 version, nothing to complain about.

More like 5-10 secs less. Especially if you have a 7200PRM Hard Drive with 16MB Cache.

You can thank the bottle-neck in the PS3 called, BluRay.MortalDecay

That nonexistant bottleneck didn't concern Naughty Dog and their Load Free game, Uncharted.

It's all about the Developers.

Actually DecayMortal, the less-loading time/HDD install is not a force feature cause of Blu-Ray,but rather a feature the developers pushed on the PS3 version to help differentiate the too and sort of offer a 'gift' of sorts to PS3 users.

While the Blu-Ray player in the PS3 is only 2x, it is still really fast, especially in comparison to DVD speeds. Need proof? Uncharted. The game does not install on the HDD, all that goes on there is a save file. That game has WAY less loading times and the areas are much more expensive and well detailed, many consider Uncharted to be the best-looking console game available right now. In some cases I consider the load times to be faster in Uncharted to DMC4, either version on top of that.

Um seeing as how the 360's load times are only 2-3 seconds that would mean the PS3 has negative load times. Is that super awsome HD capable of time travel?

Furthermore, if the 360 had a standard HDD, Capcom already stated they would have done a mandatory install for the 360 asa well.

That bottleneck the PS3 supposedly has has been taken care of in Uncharted, that's all that matters. Talented Developers delivered. Lazy or not as talented developers do not deliver.

Naughty Dog using the PS3 components to work together seemlessly like Sony intended? Good.

If there is a bottleneck, the answers are still in the PS3. Good.

Anyways, he's wrong, the reason the 360 didn't get the install was due to the lack of standard HDD according to the Capcom Dev.

It isn't due to a PS3 deficiency, but rather a PS3 standard feature.

The 5 gig mandatory install blows, it really does. I agree with that, totally....but it does make the game better, it's just a costly way of doing so.

Lemmings are still trying to say that a 5gb install is bad? GAMESPOT said that the loadtimes are NOTICEABLY REDUCED. That is what gamspot said and all the TC wanted to say is how fast the load times are. I've only played the game on the 360 and if they still reduced to loading times for the game.. then WOW. I'll probably buy it for the PS3 for that.

Also, why are people complaining about it taking 5gb and saying that PS3 owners will eventually have no space. After you finish the game and decide to stop playing it for a while, you can just delete the installed data and keep the saved data. If you decide to start playing it again after a few weeks/months, just reinstall it, 20 minutes is still nothing.

5gb is worth $2 if that 500gb drives are nnow dirt cheap, less than 2 games
