Devil May Cry Collection Rumored for PS3 and 360

The Devil May Cry series began it's story back in 2001, quickly becoming one of the most renowned hack and slash titles on any platform. With numerous changes set for the reboot to the franchise, reactions were split, with many angered at the differences. It will feature a new Dante as, according to developer Ninja Theory, the old Dante just isn't "cool" anymore. If you're one of those who just wants to relive the highlights of the series, you might just be in luck.

According to our friends over at the Bitbag there is a Devil May Cry Collection in the works for the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360. The release date for the collection is scheduled for later this year. With all the remakes that have been coming out as of late, this could very well be possible. This collection could possibly include Devil May Cry 1-4 all at a bundled price, which would come out as a great deal for gamers who have yet to experience the games, also a great pickup for fans of the series.

A collection for both PS3 and 360! Maybe Ubisoft will release the Splinter Cell Collection for the 360 too!

Anyways my only time with DMC was 4, and I was not impressed.

I've never played Devil May Cry 1 before.

Devil May Cry 2 was the first Devil May Cry game I've played and I thought it was great (until I played Devil May Cry 3).

I may pick this up for the First 2.

Seeing how I never played Devil May Cry 1-3, this is great news for me, though I'll keep my expectations low.

Will definitely buy that. DMC1 is one of my all time favourites! :)

Man this is awesome if it happens, I have all of 'em but I'd still buy that collection, probably wouldn't play two again but I definitely will give 1 and 3 another go on the 360 that'd be awesome. I kind of wish 4 wasn't in it seeing as how that's already available for the next gens. but I guess this collection is for trying to get the ones who aren't involved in DMC franchise involved, so it's understandable.

And I can't wait for DMC 5 either, don't judge until you're playing it.

Although I believe DMC should be played on PlayStation, I might just have to get this for Xbox as it's such a rare occurence.

Even Splinter Cell which is more of an Xbox franchise has it's HD collection being PS3 exclusive. That would be like Rockstar making a GTA collection that's Xbox exclusive, GTA was always more of a PS franchise. (argue this all you want, it was timed exclusive while the xbox/pc were afterthoughts)

2. Every single GTA game has been superior on the PC.

After playing bayonetta I have zero problem going to DMC3.

I still cant see myself playing these games on a console other then Playstation.

Never played any of them, but im willing to buy a collection for the HD consoles if they make one.

These collections have been pretty great so far, im catching up on everything I never played, and for cheaper prices.
