haha sure why not. Imo they just went way way too far with the cutesy crap. I guess I change my mind about it though after watching some more gameplay. Looks really entertaining and makes good use of the Wiimote. I just wish the title and atmosphere wasn't so childish and fruity. Mario and Zelda are a good balance for everyone to play. Dewey's Adventure is really just crossing the line.

If you want to understand why he said that, you need to watch the first 2 minutes of the top 10 reasons dewey rocks. Because they talk about what you just said.

There is hype and there is a lot of interest. This thread is one of them. We care because it's a good game. Andit's cutesy style makes it more mature.

Looks promising. It will get lost amongst other games this holiday season however.

When a game has very little games then people tend to hype anything, in this case an above average adventure game made for females. I was a huge Nitnendo fanboy back in the 64 days but after GC i realised nintendo are just not appealing to me anymore and as a result 3rd parties are following suit. Still my opinion so you don't have to care. That is all.

I think you're mis-interpreting what I meant by kiddy. I mean it's kiddy in terms of atmosphere, depth, sound. I enjoy the occaisonal kiddy game like Viva Pinata but this game kind of crosses the line between something that's cute and something that's kiddy.

If I have the $$, it will be a day one buy for me. It's such a pretty looking game.... And Dewey is just too cute. :oops:I wish we could get the Dewey plush as a pre-order gift like those lucky people in Japan.

The producer is having a developer diary publised on IGN about the game.

One side of me says "Cool, this could be good".

The other side of me says "It's the next Billy Hatcher". Although Billy Hatcher's multiplayer was sort of fun.
