DF on Uncharted 4: a technical marvel and the best looking game on console EVER.

How was I being an asshole? I was merely replying to those claiming PC has nothing as good looking when it is factually false.

Do we have something as good? Hard to say because games like Uncharted don't appeal to PC gamers all that much.

@Juub1990: Who said PC had nothing close to Uncharted 4? I didn't and the video/article doesn't. I honestly can't even remember the last time someone tried challenge PC's technical superiority over consoles.

Yah even the Digital Foundry video for Uncharted 4 repeatedly stated,"best out of consoles".

They always said out of consoles because PC has done these effects better.

That's not to say UC4 looks bad because it is still the best looking game I have seen on consoles.

Last gen The 360 and PS3 were close in visuals but this gen the PS4 has the obvious lead.

@Bread_or_Decide: your probably gonna walk right through those lemons and bananas in that market section of the games, it probably wouldn't even be rendered high polygon if it was a PC game, that's where modders come in on PC for highly detailed lemons and bananas.

Wonderful game, chapter 12 and 13 blew me away.

The game is 10 hours long... hes probably already done with it, and now traded it in... to play games he REALLY likes more that are A/AA range.... like most sane people.

Just like TLOU ... cows will hold it up as some glory ... 3-4 years later... even though they long since got rid of it... probably only played it through once.

It was expected, ND are a god like team, doing marvel as usual...Kudos.

When you take everything into account, animations, textures, lighting. This is the best looking game I've seen on any platform to date.

This is coming from a graphics whore btw. It's a shame PC isn't being pushed just as hard. Hopefully it will soon.

This looks like ultra Unity, Sinydicate, or modded GTAV: (Except it's a linear cinematic game instead of open world)

On a lighting and texture basic? That pretty funny considering DF game is using pre-calculated Golbal Illumination solution when Crysis 3 has it in real time . DF even said best on console lol

It is being pushed, just in much larger and open games rather than linear cinematic ones, giving UC4 a small chance. IE: In it's own right, there is no game that does what Totalwar : Warhammer does in npc battle scope. Same goes for BF1, Battlefront, and Star Citizen. That being said, even DF agrees UC4 does not beat out PC. Gameplay pictures support this fact.

Hence the name Hermit, they never go outside and jump to conclusions on any reference to graphics.
