Lets be honest, Wii could handle Diablo 3's graphics. Blizzard prioritize reaching as many people as possible. Diablo 3 could not work with the Xbox360 controller because it needs a pointer. Nintendo Wii is the most suitable console platform to run Diablo 3.

Because not everybody thinks Wii is for Kids.

To the fanbase, in which the majority bought it for Wii-sports, I don't think it would break even a million, or 300,000. Not saying there aren't hardcore gamers, but they are certainly few in comparison.

I think Diablo 3 would probably sell the damn console and would easy break a million in Korea alone.

The Wii edition of RE4 sold over a million, so I don't really think that the fanbase will be a problem - if only a small percentage of Wii owners buy it, that'll still be a large number.

And Diablo 2 doesn't? Yet look how many people are playing it right now on PC (you know, the most powerful gaming system of them all). It would seem as if your logic has a huge flaw to it.

Neither cause Blizzard thinks that consoles are for kids.

Diablo III on Wii...Wiis online capabilities can't even handle SSBB.

Diablo III on PS3/360...When was the last time Blizzard made a game for consoles?? Oh yea, most of you weren't born yet.

They make freaking WoW, with the most dedicated fan-base I can think of! Casual my arse.

It won't go to console, blizzard said that they have no plans to take it to console and that's like a "Stop asking, you're not gonna get it. Does a maybe satisfy you into shutting up? Good."

Yet the Wii handles MKWii online flawlessly, odd I guess. Besides, what does one games online shortcomings have to do with a consoles ability to do online games? The only thing the console has to do is give the game the ability to communicate with the internet, which the Wii seems to be able to do just fine. I give the examples of MKWii, MoH:H2, and GH3. So yeah, don't talk nonsense unless your nonsense makes sense, which it cannot .. so basicly, don't talk.

They would have to downgrade the game already to put in on Ps3/360.

D3 on Wii would be a massive downgrade of graphics, enemies on screen, effects, etc...

I think Wii is much more unlikely to be considered.

So basically you just asked yourself to shutup? ok I guess.

If a console cannot connect a couple of users to a game that does not require that much bandwidth to start with (SSBB). How do you think it is going to support a game with approximately the same amount of people per server as a larger MMO (WoW).

I guess Wii will get it if Wii players are willing to play on a system that will get them 28k internet capabilities.

First of All Blizzard made some games for Consoles

Second Wii's Online Capabilities are better for Mario Kart Wii then SSBB because Masahiro Sakurai decided how the online would work for SSBB. Also it is up to the Companies to decide how they want there online to be like

Third the last game for Consoles Blizzard made was StarCraft 64 Published by Nintendo developed by Blizzard Enterainment in 2000, so if you were born after 2000 you aren't really allowed on Gamespot you had to fake your age since to be a member of Gamespot you have to be atleast 13 years old.

Yes, because its mario, it would have sold that anyway. Look at sales like the Tales of Symphonia sequel, sure its a lot more niche then something like Diablo 3, but it barely broke 100k, in japan, where most jRPGs sell quite well yes overall bad example but if its third party, it gets shafted, Resident Evil 4 sold because it already had a fanbase from Gamecube.

Your responce was stupid to say the least. Try qouting the right person next time sheeesh. I am saying the kid has never played the game and you come off with Halo 3 is better than Diable 3 (which shows just how clueless you really are seeing Diablo 3 isn't out yet for you to play to be able to make that judgement).

So with your "SEE I CAN ALSO DO IT" comment. You can do what? You didn't do anything other than either quote the wrong person or make yourself look clueless. Which is it that you did also? Of which I did neither. Seriously, quote the right person next time.

Blizzard do casual things up though. World of Warcraft is the most casual MMO, Diablo is so casual that as an RPG it has been shunned and has to be called an Action game. Starcraft is pretty hardcore though.

First, you need to read what I wrote again I think. Where in my statement does it say what Blizzard never made games for consoles?

Second, We all know how much Diablo 3 with at least 8 players on screen along with tons of enemies using all high flash moves compares with Mario Kart. Lol. Wiis online capabilities are pathetic. Nintendo has always been years behind in adding emerging new technologies into their consoles. Wii still can't even play DVDs for crying out loud.

Third, Blizzard did make Starcraft for N64. We were all highly excited. But you seem to have forgotten how it turned out. When I spoke of their ages, it was implied for everyones mental ability to hold well controlled and factual debates. We all know how much SW does that right?

Yes, if Blizzard really wanted to, they could make Diablo III for the Wii. But why would a revered company such as Blizzard bring such a popular franchise to a platform when it most likely will have to be downgraded to Diablo I quality. Blizzard is known to cancel games which they have invested money into just because it does not meet their standards. Do you really think Blizzard will approve a Diablo I looking Diablo III with highly downgraded specs in EVERY category and bring it to the Wii?

[QUOTE="loco145"]I would like it for DS.Omnisystem

And I thought I was the only one thinking this :|

Let's hope they pull a Spore like EA and put it on Ninty's systems

But honestly, I could see them doing it on the Wii. Better controls, its the most popular system (next to the DS, PSP software doesn't sell) and Blizzard has worked with Ninty before.

How will Diablo III have better controls on Wii than a PC or PS3/360 which can use Keyboard / Mouse as well?

Not a PC. What games for PS3/360 have they made where the keyboard/mouse is the default? It may as well be on a PC at that point :?, and the audiences for the PC/360/PS3 are all relatively similar (comparatively to the Wii -- meaning, Wii has an enormous amount of casuals), making there a reason for it to be on the Wii, better controls or no.

Omnisystem

Yet the Wii handles MKWii online flawlessly, odd I guess. Besides, what does one games online shortcomings have to do with a consoles ability to do online games? The only thing the console has to do is give the game the ability to communicate with the internet, which the Wii seems to be able to do just fine. I give the examples of MKWii, MoH:H2, and GH3. So yeah, don't talk nonsense unless your nonsense makes sense, which it cannot .. so basicly, don't talk.

So you are blaming ONE game's inability to connect to its servers without lag on the consoles ability to connect to the internet instead of the game(or the games servers) itself? Which, if you had read what I said, I clearly pointed out MARIO KART WII, MEDAL OF HONOR HEROES 2, and GUITAR HERO 3 all have pretty much flawless online experinces. I guess one bad outweighs every good I pointed out eh? On that note, I've personally had very little problem with SSBB's online. I do admit its been a while since I played it online, but very little problems.

[QUOTE="110million"]To the fanbase, in which the majority bought it for Wii-sports, I don't think it would break even a million, or 300,000. Not saying there aren't hardcore gamers, but they are certainly few in comparison.thrones

6 million+ people bought Super Mario Galaxy.

:|

Everyone knows who Mario is, even non-gamers. Barely anyone who isn't a gamer has a clue about Diablo.
