Diablo 4 - 8/10 GS, 88 MC, 89 OC

Thoughts, SW? Will you be getting Diablo 4? Considering the hype, I was expecting pretty high scores for this one.

I'm in the same boat. I love this style of game, but €70 with day one battle passes rubs me the wrong way.

I give it 3 months before Blizzard manages to ruin it.

Will be playing it on day one. If they ruin it, my hatred toward Acitvision will be on par with Ubisoft.

A 10 is a crowd pleaser, takes no risks, appeals to everyone.

A 9 is basically a 10; no risks taken, inoffensive, etc.

An 8 is the sweet spot for me; it means it isn't perfect, but those imperfections arguably shine through because of risk-taking and gambles and it's a better game for it.

Not that I really care about scores 😋 but it is sort of reassuring

Something something tells me that you will buy the new AssCreed after seeing a bunch of reviews stating that its a "return to form" (as if this was a positive to begin with).

My freind haven't bought a AAA game since RE8.

It been nothing but good. Only punt taking in SF6 as know even if it's shit at launch something prob play for years.

You picking up Baldur's Gate 3 in it's place? Diablo 4's beta didn't wow me over as Diablo 3 did which was a decade. So I'm settling in for Baldur's Gate 3.

This game sucks. Dull, a time sink, a money sink.

Nah, judging by my time with the beta, there are better ARPGs to play if I'd feel like it. Not having to deal with Blizzard's bullshit that will inevitably plague the game is good too.

that being said... been almost 10 years since sf5 and d3 and I cant believe they picked the same week for release!?! has me vexed

Tried to find the game for cheaper than msrp on pc, and its impossible. The game is not even on cdkeys (pc version) wtf.

Wanted to pre order just so i could get into the game on the 2nd, but now i'll just wait for a DF analysis. Having played the pc and the ps5 version, i didn't even notice any graphical differences, so if they're extremely close, its much better to get it on ps5, play it, and when you're tired of the game, sell dat shiet, and recoup at least half the price of the ridiculous $103cad that it costs.
