let's face the facts here. No one buys Halo for the campaign, no one buys COD or alot of other games for the SP expreience. They buy it because of the MP.

That's not true.

I know there are chaper options, but I don't care. Nothing about Xbox Live is worth paying for IMO. If it is for you and others than that's perfectly fine, but I don't see the real value in it. PSN is prefect for my online console needs.

Oh I agree that it's a horrible deal, I just hate it when people act like you have to pay $60 a year.

I know there are cheaper options, like the year before I got a PS3 I renewed my Live susbcription for like 40$ at a store they had on Sale. Still not worth paying for IMO. For otehrs it is and that's fine, but for me nah....

Playing Halo offline isn't right. It's like buying a car without tires.... The Halo SP get's boring pretty quick. Although Halo CE and Reach had pretty good SP modes, but Halo 3 was mediocre IMO. Still MP is the BIGGEST feature of the Halo games and there is no denying that. You buy Halo for the MP, that's what sells people...

You think it gets boring, doesn't mean other people think it does.I've finished the COD campaigns over 10 times.

Well good for you, but if they made a Halo without MP alot of people would be very dissapointed.

Yes,and a lot of people would be disappointed if they released a Halo without a SP.

I have try both and since i only care for core gaming, don't care for party chat or facebook,i have to say PSN more than covers me,the experience is basically the same all around, some games lag other don't,Gears was a mess Halo Reach was great,MW2 is a lag fest on PS3 while Resistance 1,2 and the Beta ran great. Since to me they accomplish the same job and one is free i have to go with the one that is free, after all $60 a year is 1 game more that i can buy yearly with the yearly fee.

Played on PSN for a few years, played on XBL for about 2 weeks, went back to PSN, then sold both and got a gaming PC to go on steam.
