Did Killzone Ever Live Up To That Infamous E3 '05 Trailer?

remember this? I don't think killzone ever really came close to matching this masterpiece of a trailer. in fact, no game this gen did on PC or consoles

Honestly, that trailer doesn't look nearly as good now as it did in '05.

In some ways Killzone 2 looks better, in some ways the trailer looks better. Overall, I like Killzone 2 more.

Mostly I am surprised how much Killzone changed artistically.

KZ2 surpassed that trailer by far

I'd say that KZ3 has, especially the jungle level from whatI have seen.

Honestly, I think it has for the most part.

actually yes, that trailer isn't too impressive really. Killzone 2 looks quite a bit better than that.

the most noticable imrpovement from that trailer to killzone 2 are the animations.

EDIT: in fact the trailer kinda looks like a mix of killzone 1 and 2 graphically.

Killzone 2 looked better then that to me when I played it, so yes.

Your kidding. Killzone 3 is console graphics king and only a few games can match or exceed it in graphics, only on PC.

If you feel that it doesn't surpass the trailer then more power to you.....just a shame that the majority doesn't feel the same way

KZ 2 lived up to the hype of that trailer imo. Honestly it wasnt the graphics that really had me but the action and intensity of the fire fights. Storming Visari's palace after the city was nuked was awesome for me.

None of those are the 2005 cgi trailer.

I'm naming the 2005 Killzone trailer as the "Fire Effects" king.

while KZ2 looks really good, its no where near the 05 trailer... lighting is different, a hell of alot going on, particle effects and animations are on a whole nother level. im sorry but to who ever thinks it matched it you need some new eyes
