Well dang that's amazing, but I'll wait to see the game selection and how it will affect multiplayer games.tagyhagWell I know there's a crap ton of releases on PC already. But it's launching with 1,500 games. Not a bad selection to start.

I guess that all depends on their bandwith plans and what not. Depends on the customer. I'd say a service like this would cost round 20-25 bucks a month.[QUOTE="tagyhag"][QUOTE="Animal-Mother"] Well I know there's a crap ton of releases on PC already. I usually do the Gamefly thing a few months out of the year, so this is pretty radical. I wonder if they is all-inclusive with the regular member fee, or another fee on top?
Me to when i saw infinitely better first thought was "here we go again"You have no idea how reliefed I was when I saw that you didn't write "unlimited detail"

Aren't PC games already cheap? Isn't the point of upgrading your PC every two years or whatever....to take advantage of cheap games.KC_Hokie...What are you talking about?

cheap vs cheaper...which would you pick?

Why spend all that money building and upgrading PCs to then rent games? I don't get it.

I rent games on consoles to see if I'll enjoy them or not. It's nice we'll be able to do the same for PC. Just cause it's cheaper, doesn't mean we're going to buy every, single game. Alsowhy play full price for 8-hour multiplats you'll never play again?

Hell I could play Human revolution and a bunch of other games. for less than what I would pay for it new.

If it even costs that much.
How else are we supposed to try games these days? We rarely, if ever, get demos anymore. the only other way to try before you buy...is very much looked down upon.

[QUOTE="Bigboi500"]What problem? Or is my sarcastic meter broken? :P This has no connection to used games......and magically hermits no longer have a problem with used games.

$10 less than a console game when not even on sale new. I was just doing the math in my head for a service like Gamefly and how many games you could buy off Steam on sale with that in a year. Just doesn't make sense. Whatever...if some people like it more power to them.i still rather own my games when i buy them on steam for extremely cheap during sales. this is still cool tho for those looking for pc rental options.
[QUOTE="Heil68"][QUOTE="Bigboi500"]What problem? Or is my sarcastic meter broken? :P This has no connection to used games...Then obviously you have never used Gamefly. They offer users the option of keeping the rentals they play. That becomes a used game sale....and magically hermits no longer have a problem with used games.

Hermits in general seem to be against used game sales mainly because they haven't had as easy access to them as console gamers do. If they do, I suspect some greasing of the wheels.

What does this really have with their digital PC store and services? Nothing.[QUOTE="Bigboi500"]Then obviously you have never used Gamefly. How is that pricing for a used game compared to GS? I have bought plenty of used PC games, mainly of Ebay and have had no problem with them. Please Log In to post.
