for quite a while 360 ran multiplats better - probably due to more "PC-like" architecture.

Gears of War, Mass Effect, Halo, Forza, Nuts and Bolts, Crackdown, Viva Pinata, Lost Odyssey, PGR 3, PGR 4 are still exclusives.

And there were plenty of games which were exclusive for a while before being ported over to PS3, e.g. Mass Effect.

XBLA also had better games, even if MS didn't deal with their indie devs very well

lol, having to name of 7.0 games and multiplats isn't going to help any argument for xbox360.

Use your own brain. Lost odyssey is a great rpg and crackdown was actually good and fun, and makes you feel powerful like a superhero game should. Infamous is a shitty third person shooter.

Sorry your arguments based on your fanboy loyalty toward xbox aren't going to work here.

GS:

Infamous 9.0 >>>>>>>> Crackdown 7.8 >> Lost Odyssey 7.5

Meta Critic

Infamous 8.5 >> Crackdown 8.3 >>> Lost Odyssey 7.8

Yes I did use my brain and I'll tell you lost odyssey was shit because I bought and played but couldn't even stand playing through half of the first 3 disks.

No matter how you slice it you are overruled trying to give more credit to your fanboy opinion than it deserves.

Last gen was great for games regardless of your platform of choice.

lol look at all that goal post moving from someone acting so holier than thou.
Simple fact Across all games with no goal post moving the 360 not only had more games released, it had more high scoring games.

@ermacness: not enough to make me trust the whole of their shitty "opinions"

Well, sorry bro, but to me, I have 2 choices here: Go with the "bribed "gaming journalist or one of SW "biased" poster? I think I'm going to chose the gaming journalist here as it seems that BOTH of you seem have biased opinions about MGS4, at least their "biased" opinion mostly matches the unbiased opinions with MGS4.

This site also have known for very shady acts with their reviews as well, but guess what? At the end of the day GS reviews hold weight here at SW, not skelly34's review. So excuse me if I don't hold your opinion about a game as high as GS official opinion about "said" game.

@ermacness:

I don't want you to believe me, just not to believe those fools. Video games journalism is not something to be taken seriously. You don't have to respect my opinion either, you can always have your own. If you think MGS4 is a good game, then good for you. The idea here is that "game journalists" are a very partial and untrustworthy source of "objective facts."

Anyone who has been gaming for a while knows not to fully trust game reviewer's "opinions." People only ever bring up metascore or game reviewers to win arguments, not to assess if they're actually objective or fair. You're doing that right now and it's pretty pathetic.

Hey, guess what? I sometimes agree with GS reviewer Kevin, but I don't act like his opinion is the end-all be-all of objectivity. He's done some pretty shitty reviews in his time too.

Lastly, this is not some raging fanboy argument against PS3 that you immediately assumed it was. I personally think Demon Souls deserves a higher rating than both DKSI and DKSII, but "game journalists" think it doesn't.

I personally think the PS3 probably has the most memorable games in the sense of being the most cinematic; which doesn't say much for replay value.

Where Sony fails to touch Nintendo or Microsoft or PC in gaming is the fact that those 3 platforms tend to offer more than just an experience. There's multiplayer, there's completion bonuses, there's customizable options and so on. PS3 had Uncharted (beat em all), Killzone (which was dreadful), took a right step in a good direction with Resistance 1 but failed with the others, had really bad exclusives like Genji 2, Lair, Haze, Yakuza Dead Souls, and for crying out loud, what the heck was GOW-ascension?

There's only so many times one can have a cinematic experience as a gamer without getting bored. Hence, why The Order 1886 won't be remembered for much because it too offered too little.
