Before Sony gets a chance to release Home, MS will already have updated their NXE enough times to where its exactly like Home, but better and without ads
Thats possible but I highly doubt it will happen because 360's NXE really cant be compared to home because its just an avatar system in 2d and home is a 3d world. Ive heard from a lot of my friends with 360's the system is completly pointless. And for the ads part I really dont care as long as it keeps home free. But who knows its quite possible home will fail as bad as 360's NXE

First off, MS said that this is only the beginning of the NXE and there will be more uses to the avators in the future. And secondly, all Home is is a place for developers to advertise their games, so that you can say, is completely pointless as well...
We'll have to wait and see Im not trying to talk home up because Im not really sure how its going to be I very sceptical on the idea right now but if done right it could be fun. Ive seen NXE and it just seems empty right now. We'll have to see how things go in the future. And personally I think the ads wont interfere with home in any way. Im guessing they will just be banners on the wall which wont be much different then what I see driving down the highway everyday.
i kind of like home. it was boring at first but once my personal friends got in the beta it got fun, bowling playing pool, or just playing the arcade games are fun. theres no reason to bash it, as its free and you dont need to use it, the ads, who care they are just sitting there you dont have to watch/look at them, they dont come up during load times and force you to look at them. i have yet to update my 360 to compare it to it, maybe ill update tonight, but ive been hearing some freezing issues happen when its DL so im kind iffy on doing it
